Mayo Chiki 3 Meh, this seems to be taking much the same path of "Kore wa Zombie desuka", a good premise and good first/second episode but then loses its magic.

I think the problem with this episode is that 12 episode limit per season. Kore wa zombie's story just ended up becoming really stupid. Mayo Chiki on the other hand just seemed to move WAY WAY too fast this episode. They went from being at home -> being at school -> going to the water park -> becoming kidnapped within like 10 minutes. Getting kidnapped should have happened towards the end of the episode.

Idolm@ster 3: Yukiho's fear of men is too exaggerated. Her reactions are usually too ridiculous and over-the-top to really think of her problem seriously. She's pretty being played out to death as a crybaby and being overly afraid with over-the-top reactions- it's just like I'm watching K-On! A better treatment of her character could have just made her really timid in front of men- like she could be really distrustful and tends to shy away; something that shows when the Producer first meets her in the first game. She's always had a really innocent and sweet personality in the games, but unfortunately, we've only really seen crying and running away most of the time. This episode marks the start of a unique relationship between her and the Producer, so we'll probably get to see other aspects of her personality as she eases up with the Producer.

What was well done in this episode was Yukiho facing her fear and her starting to bond with the Producer and ease up around him. Yukiho facing her fear was enjoyable and she got to be really awesome during the concert. That "YAY" was really awkward, but it was heartwarming to see her get really confident after Haruka and Makoto improvised to help her out. And out of what the anime has done with Yukiho, I like the way that Yukiho and the Producer's relationship is portrayed.

And for the next episode, premise looks like they're going on some sort of variety show to get them publicity or something. I wonder what about it will make it a Takane episode.

EDIT:

Nichijou 17: Takasaki's segments are my favorites on the show now. For some reason, Takasaki yelling "EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!" back to "EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!" girl is just hilarious and despite the fact it's the second time they used this joke, his explanations to her never get stale. Also, the fabulous Crow (voiced by Daisuke Ono) having Sakamoto's scarf was funny.

Why'd Yukko's hair get longer at the end, again?

ryo kyu bu 4 - swimsuits with aprons over them, why would you do that to me. THIS SHOW IS TOO CUTE.

nichijou 17 - dat silent skit. The only show I've ever seen where every new episode is the best episode to date.

Ao no Exorcist ep. 15 - Looks like the cat's finally out of the bag, and it seems like a really pissed off cat too. I can't wait for the next one! Biggrin

Shiki 21.5: Well, now we know who started the fire. I really like how they started from the beginning of the series and sped through all of the events but this time through the eyes of Motoko, so you can see how she goes from being a normal overprotective parent to a complete psycho. There are still a few questions that I have left that were unanswered though, like how did the Akira boy escape from being tied up and about to be killed by that shiki? Overall, Shiki was probably the best vampire story I've ever seen, and it managed to make excellent use of its huge cast.

Natsume Yuujinchou San 4
: That was a nice story. It's always good to find out more about Natsume's past, and it really shows how much he's changed after finding people that he cares for.

If I barely remember specifics, will this extra episode make any sense to me? Shiki was a damn fine show.

Penguindrum 3 -
Between this and Panty and Stocking, all future transformation scenes will need to step their game up. Way up.

Ao no Exorcist 15 -
Pretty damn spectacular. Assuming multiple seasons, I hope they split them up and don't feel the need to make filler seasons/episodes.

No. 6 -
I wonder if the gay overtones scare off any part of the male viewing audience? Shaping into a damn proper show.

You should be fine. Like the previous special, the main focus of the episode is on some side characters that did not get much air time in the series, and it tells their full stories so there's no need to remember too much. Previous events are only used as context in the episode for when the events that happened to these side characters occurred.

I know the gay overtones scared off my friend who was watching it, even though he's already reading the manga. Makes no sense to me, but eh, his loss.

Natsume Yuujinchou San 04: Freaking d'awwwww. I love these kinds of stories.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira OVA 01: Fanservice. The whole episode. Do. Not. Want.

Nichijou Ep 17 - Is it just me, or did Yuko's hair grow longer?

No, more like, did the art style change a little this episode? Nano and Yuko seem to be drawn slightly different from usual...

p.s. The crow sounded like Ono Daisuke. If it was, then it's Lucky Star all over again; Konno Hiromi, Shiraishi Minoru and Ono Daisuke in the same segment...
(The 3 of them were together in the Lucky Channel segment during some of the last few episodes; Ono as himself, Shiraishi as a character of the same name, and Konno as Kogami Akira).

Usagi Drop, Kaiji and Nyanpire are the only shows that interest me enough to watch currently. I usually don't follow much recent anime, just the noitaminA slot (even those have been getting kinda generic lately) and Madhouse's non-western adaptions.

No 6 4- I'm interested in the story but damn that Yaoi is making it really hard to watch....

Mayo Chiki 4 - Now this was a great episode =). I was smilin the whole time. I wonder if there's going to be some Subaru vs Suzutski for Jirou in later episodes.

No.6 Episode 4: Loving this series, the story is engaging, the characters interesting and the artwork is beautiful, especially the landscapes, cities etc. The romance is cute without being too "in your face" about it like other BL themed shows are, if people don't like it then can just ignore it and focus on the other stuff. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

No. 6 04: Mmm... more character development. I love all the characters so far.

Mayo Chiki 04: I just noticed... finally a harem where the male lead isn't a clueless retard. This episode was pretty funny, and that's saying a lot.

Break Blade Movie 6: The animation quality is definitely much higher in this one than in the rest of the series. Best way to wrap up the final fight. I enjoyed the action, and of course, the hand drawn mechs.

Mayo Chiki 04 I take back my previous statements, this show may be able to keep the magic going.

Nichijou Ep 18 - A little randomness, and more stupidity from the Science teacher.

What the hell? Starbucks?

By the way, you've GOT to listen to the preview's narration by Aikawa Rikako as the above frappucino. She does it freaking fast, my God.
