Besides BM and Corsair, I have heard every job testify that they love their class in PVP. It also seems that each "OP" class I hear about has their own significant downfall. As for level, I dont think it really affects anything besides having more skills in your arsenal. Which beyond 140-150 (a pretty simple level to reach nowadays) doesn't matter too much. I'll go so far as to say that PVP seems incredibly balanced. I score high most games but all it takes is an aran or warrior to shut me down quick. Each player just needs to learn a good strategy. Way to go NexonKR.

Agreed. I was very surprized about how PvP turned out with no classes having a clear edge. I also noticed levels didn't play too significantly as my brother that's level 98-100 has been able to take down teams of level 110-120ish.

anyone who says mechs are OP... are just idiots. This is seeing as how almost EVERYONE has a way to avoid almost all of the damage from siege mode. Any mage needs to just telespam to either side and the mech can almost never hit them. JUMPING of all things makes most siege mode shots (and normal shots) miss. Being on a platform slightly lower than the mech (think of the little jumps from cygnus map) makes all the shots miss as well.

The only way to die to a mech is to not notice they're unloading siege mode on you.... which takes a crapton of shots to actually deal good damage... or to be going up against a lvl 160+ mech while you're barely lvl 120. (note i'm talking about being at half+ hp)


BaMs are probably the most annoying PvPers. Three forms of invincibility, two of which allow em to spam #blow. Dat dark chains.

So far i haven't been able to make it past 2k points. There's always a high level BaM/archer just raping everyone. And for some reason (ie since they're idiots) everyone else there targets me.... instead of the guy with over twice my points..... who also happens to be the champion at the moment... who also happens to have almost no HP left.... while I'm at almost full...

I agree. BAMs get too many "NO HITS". IT's kind of annoying fighting BaMs sometime.

Considering you haven't PvP'd, assuming from your posts saying you quit, I don't think you're in the position to comment about if it takes skill.

Spam Big Bang -> Get low on HP -> Tele to safety -> Heal -> Tele to nearest enemy -> Repeat process.
Throw a random Gen in there for lulz.

I don't think my Outlaw's gonna get anywhere in PvP, cause lag basically means it misses everyone. Most of my points were from blank shot...


Recoil shot, on the other hand, I'm certain doesn't work right in PvP. Had to basically stop, press the button, and wait 5 seconds for it to shoot.

Haha, I know how this feels. I can't find my screenshot button on this computer, but joining games from near the beginning usually nets me 2k+ points. Just got 2.8k and I was transformed 1/3rd of the time. >__<;

PS - All with a 94 attack crossbow while I'm lvl 167 because I'm too poor and have no Str to hold a real weapon. (/ω＼

Has anyone fought a bishop that SPAMS DISPEL? Worst 2 rounds I have ever been in. Buff > Dispel > Crash Bishop > Bishop runs, heals, stuns with Tele Mastery, buffs, Dispel > I rebuff > Tele Mastery stun > Dispel, for 10 minutes. I just stopped even going down since I couldn't keep away from the bishop chasing me and everyone else around Dispelling.

Alright, fair enough, but that doesn't deny the fact that there's absolutely no skill involved in Maple. With the way the game is designed, there's very little you can do to "change it up". Yes, JP's post is a valid reason for this. Instead of a "Big Bang" bishop, be a "Dispel" bishop and dispel to victory.

Yeah, about that. My friend is a Dispel Bishop and it reaaaallly got under my skin. But thinking about it, I started doing it when there's a couple of hackers in the round.

When a Paladin crashes me, I dispel him. To pineapple with him more, I use Doom. Of course, my Doom is a low level, so it doesn't always work. It does help people win. And ever since I've started utilizing that, people have been RUNNING from me.

Personal high score, yay. It's actually pretty tough as an archer. No skills that make it tough for other classes. Can get lucky w/ a stun from phoenix sometimes, but basically if the other person/people jump at all we can completely miss and it takes us a while to attack. Compounded with the fact that AR is completely useless because it takes sooooo looooooooooong to cast. Nonetheless, this stage is my betch.
