Someone mentioned something about ad vs apen runes and ray told me to math it.
What I got (in table form for easy reading)
1.Find your ad in the table (close as possible, don't count +15 from ad runes if you have them)
2.If opponent's armour (dont count apen runes if you have them) is lower than the listed value for your ad, apen runes are better. Otherwise, ad runes are better

Typically base values at level 18 for AD are between 95 and 110, while base values for Armor are between 65 and 85.

@Kayle spotlight: Eww they really make that remake sound like a nerf pretty much all around. Not sure I care for the direction it's taken since they accidently released her "in progress" rework.

edit: Well I just looked him up and he has almost all orianna games on his list so you might not catch him streaming anytime soon with lux.

So what quintessence runes should I get next? I'm considering these two options:
- MS quints: Use it on my Jungle Cho'Gath runepage for the extra MS early game
- AP quints: Use it in my AP runepage for the huge AP boost it provides (~+15 AP)

I have seen Roku's plays. None of his lux streams. A single person can't justify the need for a single item. It really depends on the game or even maybe your ability to juke as lux. I will consider your option of lich bane next time i play her though. I do understand that helps her burst much more late game, but I feel that Lux becomes a support late game because of glass cannon, long range abilities, CDR, and tons of AP.

Duel said you get Lich on Lux due to her phase where she has nothing left to offer, which only confirms my point that her cooldowns are too high that you need to build weird items to help her through it.
Personally think Lich on Lux is a wasted item slot that could be used for a better caster item. If you like it thats fine, but i see no point to ignore lux's great range to go auto attack someone with procs you will barely get to use because of the cooldowns.

Useless? Lichs bane is more then it's already amazing passive. It gives great ap, speed and magic resist. Long range snares don't work unless your enemy is an idiot or is already cc'ed in which case it isn't necassary to snare from long range because you can just get closer. Besides you'll get destroyed glass cannon build, because you'll be shut down with cc by any gap closer (oww look flash, so everyone is a gap closer). Lichs bane is in itself already a survival item (speed, magic resist) and you already should get a survival item before you get a lichs bane. We're not saying you should rush this first but that it's a great item late game. I personally get it whenever we're just dominating the game after my sorcerer boots/deathcap/void staff. If we're not dominating I get abyscell/hourglass after deathcap depending on who's fed. If we're just plain losing I get morello's(/deathfire grasp if they have health stackers because I normally build a kage's pick early already) after deathcap to have mana/cdr/ap without golem buff.
Your job as an ap carry is to completely destroy your enemy with as much damage as you can get, unless someone else is carrying your job is indeed to snare/slow/shield, where damage is only your secondary purpose. Lichs bane passive allows you to destroy golem/dragon/baron/turrets and aids you greatly if you happen to be 1vs1 or well in any case actually. As someone said before it gives you something to do besides positioning yourself when all your skills are on cooldown. I've over 100 games with Lux and my elo is around 1500 so I think I know what's useless and what's not on Lux.

I'm thinking my Poppy problem is the fact I take forever to get a Trinity Force, so I need to farm better/get more gold with Poppy. I already use a Philo Stone, should I add an HoG or even an Avarice Blade to my build?

You could get a HoG if you want, but i think you're ment to be farming Champions on Poppy, given her kit.

Maybe it's just me, but that AD vs Armor list almost makes it seem like ArP is better 90% of the time compared to AD.

So now I ask the question again. Where was this confirmed? Who said this? People said AD runes were better than ArP for the most part, but the list shows ArP better than AD for the most part.

I've grown to loathe players of "tank" Morde and "tank" Garen.
They're just as bad as feeders - instead of giving the enemy team gold, they prevent your own team from getting gold because they last hit champions with their ults, spend all the gold on tank items, and turn into nothing more than a walking R button late game.
Too frustrating. x.x

My friend plays tank garen 0.o
Pretends to be caught out of place in a 3 v 1. Spin2win, silence slap, +moar auto attacks, R. At least 1 is dead and the other two are injured 0.o
He runs craptons of armor pen runes and gets 1 damage item. Then the rest of the items are armor items with damage as a secondary effect (sometimes).
