Troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse, who had been attempting a comeback after a few years battling drug and alcohol addiction, has been found dead in her London home, according to British media reports.


Sky News and BBC reported police sources as confirming the 27-year-old singer's death.

London police issued a statement Saturday saying an unnamed 27-year-old female had been pronounced dead at the scene at a home in north London.

"Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained," said Metropolitan Police....

Indeed, though overdose was exactly the most obvious cause for her death. :x
She was a good artist, but i can't really say i didn't see this coming.

I somewhat had the feeling if she didn't stop........she would see her own demise. Still sad though. =(

Blah, saw someone tweeted this earlier, but couldn't find anything on it. Shame to lose such an amazingly talented singer to something so stupid.

Considering the best thing RDJ did for his career was get sober, I'm going to say this is an inaccurate statement. Good try, though.

Most of his characters he plays are like hes drunk/distant. I joke around saying it's more about his personal experience rather than acting, I still love his characters though.

Robert Downey Jr. is one of the coolest people I've ever met and he's nothing like the characters he plays (Mainly his crackpot roles like Sherlock Holmes). If I didn't know any better, I would never be one to assume that he ever did heroin (moms old friend was a heroin addict, and they... don't act normal, so it's not too hard to assume they are on something. My neighbors one too and he sometimes will try to walk in my house.)

Anyways, this is pretty sad cause she honestly didn't have a bad voice. She could have used it for more meaningful songs than about ignoring the fact that you should go to rehab :| Young too, eck.

Though I don't care about his personal life, I love all his movies. My intentional implication was that drugs/alcohol adds to the success of his career, indirectly as he mimics the effects of them on majority of his characters. Amy here took the more direct approach as she couldn't mimic them without actually being on them.
