Figure collecting thread ver.2

xBTAx Wrote:Oh thanks, I've been trying to find a site for a while now, and it turns out it's wcloudxkumo.com...

That said, last time there was some constantly updating thing on Twitter of photos of the event, or something? That was how I got most of my info. :x

EDIT: Why would you guys even think about buying a WonFes exclusive Nendo from a proxy when GSC's gonna sell them overseas on their site now? Sure, you have to arrange a group order with 4 other people for most things on their site, since it's 2k yen for EMS no matter what and you can usually only get 5 of one item, but that just makes it even cheaper overall. :p

Yeah, I don't know why but I can't find any information on the GSC overseas sales thing. It might be because I feel like s'hit but I doubt it xD

EDIT - Not sure when they'll be up on the site, but the whole set (except for the secret ones obviously) have been shown of the Nendo Petit Madoka set and they look amazing. Can't wait for pre-orders, gonna snatch up both Homus ~

Is Hobby Search legit? Never ordered from them.

Yes, they are. I've ordered from them before and a friend of mine got his Revoltech Professor Layton from them.

I first started at hobby search before learning about ami ami. It's legit and works fine, but their shipping is either sal unregistered or EMS. Their prices are also a little bit higher and their stock isn't as extensive as amiami as they mostly focus on figures. I also see very few touhou figures on hobby search which I find weird.

I've had plenty of things come from them though without any problems (Except once when I ranted about a return shipment in angry dome a couple months back)

Rage. No one in my f'ucking family with a Pay-pal believes me that they don't charge until the shipment is in the warehouse even though I showed them on the FAQ.
Oh well, guess I'll have to wait -.- FFFFFFFFFFFFFFffffffffffff-

Are you talking about your Nendoroid Homura that you pre-ordered?

Also, I scrolled up the thread and noticed Kotobukiya's Spica among Kizo's stuff. As a Sumaga fan, consider me jealous.

AmiAmi gets a lot of these Touhou figures as exclusives. That's a major part in it.

No, no. I have my Homura nendo, Homura figma, and the two Beach Homura WAVE figures on lock. I got the Nendo and WAVE figures with a debit card and my friend helped me out with the Figma using his paypal.
I'm talking about this petit set, which won't be f'ucking charged until January -sigh-

Maybe BTA will help me out since I got him those Higurashi CDs at AX xD

If it means anything, I've preordered from hobby search and it is true, you don't pay anything until the preorder comes in. I bought some anime double deck boxes (For yugioh, 2 each of 4 kinds, sold some to noobs for easy profit) for my brother as a preorder, and i didn't get the invoice until 2 months later when it finally came in stock. I even have a taiga figure my brother wanted that's been on preorder for about 3-4 months and the invoice won't be here for about another month or two.

Here's the link to order the WF exclusives for oversea buyers [ Deadline Aug. 1st ] http://goodsmile-wf-global.ecq.sc/

GMSInfighter Wrote:Is Hobby Search legit? Never ordered from them.
Yeah, Hobby Search & HLJ are both major online figure stores. Then AmiAmi decided to open theirs to oversea; so now those 3 are top stores. AmiAmi is the cheapest though.

Hopefully you guys were able to preorder it 'cause usually when nendoroid like this sell out that quick, they become pretty rare later on. ex: back when Kaito was released, it was only $35 & sold out within a day; now he's like $100 & super rare.

Are those the only 5 products they are selling? In terms of exclusives.

I got them on Otacute, not sure how their payment method works. I didn't even have to give them Paypal information upon reserving it.

Well, those are GSC's exclusives. You have other companies selling theirs too but iono if you can buy them oversea or not.

Like most online stores, when the products arrive at their stores, they will send you an invoice & you send the money then. Only few stores ask for money upfront.

Well I know that pre-orders only receive the money from you when it's in their warehouse, but most stores usually ask for the billing information just so they know you're serious. I simply put my e-mail, username, and password and it said Okay, confirmed. I'm like O.o

That same madoka nendoroid is only about $66 compared to 100-120 at toyslogic. Tempted to get it now since those items tend to be very pricey once they're gone.

I've read (because I was planning on getting the Homura Nendo from toyslogic) that they are really good about getting exclusives, it's just that they are notorious for the longest delays out of every American based company.

Like I said, GSC will be selling them to overseas customers on their website. If you take advantage of their shipping and split the order with 4 other people, it might be cheaper than $66 even after shipping.

Yeah, it's that simple. xD Just check the site & your email whenever the items are instock.

Buying it from GSC directly is much cheaper & faster than any other methods. Plus you don't have to pay for the extra "exclusive commission" they charge you.

This is the first time GSC has put something up for oversea buyers; before we had to go through middlemen i.e TokyoHunter etc.
