[Event 1] Evolving Ring! (July 21st - August 25th, 2011)
* The following event is only for level 13 or higher.

Free Evolving Ring for everyone!
First when you get it, it will have no stats,
but give it some time and it will evolve into the best ring you own!

This is what you do on your first day of the event:
1. Log in and talk to NPC Cody to receive a ring. This ring will have no stats.
(* You can find Cody through the Mirror Dimension inside the event map.)
2. Explore the new Maple World for 1 hour.
If you log out not having stayed the full hour, the ring will disappear.
3. When you have stayed the full hour in Maple World,
your ring will evolve into a level 1 ring automatically!

From your second day to August 25th, 2011:
1. Log in and tell Cody you want to evolve your ring. He will give you a box.
2. Explore the new Maple World for 1 hour.
If you log out not having stayed the full hour, the box will disappear.
3. When you have stayed the full hour,
the box will automatically open up to reveal a potion.
4. Take the potion to Cody to evolve your ring.

On the last day of the event, you'll be able to exchange your Evolver Ring
once you bring it to Cody!

[Event 2] The Resistance is Coming (July 21st - August 3rd, 2011)

They are coming. The underground force that will battle against the Black Mage.
The question is: Will you be ready when they arrive?
To get ready, talk to NPC Cassandra and do as she asks.
You will be rewarded with the Resistance Energy Capsule and Resistance Weapon Box
that will help you grow a Resistance character later!
Not at the level where you can earn the items? Start leveling now!

I think this is the biggest patch i have ever seen in maplestory, content wise. Just wow.

I'm surprised they didn't just throw in Chaos too.

The truth is that they Copy-Paste all from Maple sea.......

They even seem to have dropped the language system.

I am very pleased with EMS, i have so much content to explore, so many things to do.

Even though NexonEU botched the update with a ton of bugs, i have to say that my motivation to play has returned completely.

I don't remember that platform or that Crystal NPC.

Yep, they removed the language channel system, but you can still change the language in your game to : English, Franch, Dutch and Deutch.

BTW I'm with you! There's alot of new things to exlpore this summer! (And more 2 weeks we will get new jobs too )

Now EMS is just missing what, LHC UA and chaos to have catched up to gms? Seems that nexon was serious about catching up after all.

And an anniversary event, but I'm not sure when yours is.

1. the other parts of Big Bang
2. AfterShock (New guild system, UA, LHC, Greece town, UI update)
and Chaos here we come (oor to the future, New hero skills, PVP, Arsits system).

OP might be a bit misleading, this is the last pigmy update, after that, as in probably next patch they'll change it to something they call "Toy capsule" which is probably just gachapon.

To make it short, pigmy stays for one more patch.

With the resistance update will come Wild Hackers, which will probably look like the picture in 8. Bang UI.

...Did they just completely copy MSEA's data for BB?

I checked the game for the first time since the Evan patch, and there's so much stuff taken straight from MSEA. It's nothing like the eMS I remember. ._.
