Worst event in Norway since WW2. Wow.

Edit: Here's a link with good information [wiki]:

I saw this on a news blog, and there doesn't seem to be any indication of a terrorist attack or if it was a crazed lunatic. What's appalling is no news agencies are reporting anything on the matter here, when this should be considered breaking news and follow the investigation of this devastating attack.

Someone who hates NATO. Like Gaddafi.

Either way, looks like terrorists target more and more Scandinavian countries, and I don't like it.

As of right now 6:10 PM/18:10 Norwegian time, no one has taken the responsibility for the attack. The police says that they have no motive and have no theories about whom may be responsible for the attack. They currently have no leads either. Terrorist-experts says that they would be surprised if this is not a terrorist attack. The police is currently evacuating other places (news channels, such as TV2) geographically long away from the explosion. Based on the size of the explosion and what bomb experts say, there may be a vehicle involved, but not confirmed. If so, the size of vehicle must be a van. The police recommends people to get away from Oslo central and to avoid big assemblies.

There has also been confirmed reports about multiple shots in a summer camp for the second largest political party (AP) - where 560 people is assembled.

Edit: Police considers this as an ongoing event.

Uh what, oslo is like the opposite end from NATO, in fact it be easier to get to NATO. And I think they'd sooner attack the NATO in brussels because that's where the USA meets up mainly, or at least my dad does.

Possible lead?

"Al Jazeera reported that several days prior to the explosion, Norwegian prosecutors filed a terrorism charge against Mullah Krekar, the founder of the Kurdish Ansar al-Islam, who faced accusations of threatening former MP Erna Solberg with death. He responded that "Norway will pay a heavy price for my death. If, for example, Erna Solberg deports me and I die as a result, she will suffer the same fate." However, Al Jazeera stated it was not clear whether the case was related to the blast."

I'm sure the police is aware of that, but this is no lead of any sort. Mullah Krekar is, as far as I know, not dead.

A little more information, it looks like there could have been a blast in the actual building upper floor

I see comments it's been confirmed its a terrorist group, looking for source, nevermind it hasn't been confirmed yet.

A political youth camp for the political party Arbeiderpartiet - 4 reported shot and one person arrested. The shooter posed as a policeman, with fake uniform.

Wow... 20-30 reported floating in the water at the island where the political youth camp was. Not confirmed numbers, so cannot say if this is true or not yet, but sounds crazy.

Oh btw, I can tell you it's 100% not Gaddafi, he's too smart for that.

If there would be found -any- link between these attacks and Gaddafi, it would give the USA carte blanche to retaliate for attacking a NATO partner, and trust me, that's not something he's waiting for...
