Can Shielding Wards work with Clean Slate scrolls?

They work on all scrolls. It protects against items blowing up. It doesn't matter what scroll you use that may blow it up.

Does the protection effect only last for one scroll, or does it work until something attempts to blow the item up?

I mean, I can imagine there are situations in which someone -might- have great Potential on an imperfect weapon, but, especially with all the GM Scrolls flying around, it probably would otherwise be cheaper just to make a new one. Of course, your mileage may vary.
