The video showcases changes for old characters. Ryu seems to have a different super (also wall bouncing beam), Spencer has a new OTG, Joe has dodge, Taskmastr has some new stab move, Magneto has some new magnet suck move. And Storm took a page from Rachel Alucard's move list and has a wind push move.

Huh. I'm gonna guess strider is a glass cannon, which makes me sad. Already got 2 of 'em on my main team. Hoping Doctor Strange and Ghost rider can come into the mix.

I hope they made HsienKo slightly faster or at least given her an OTG.

I'm sure they'll give Hsein-ko some new tools to work with. She's regarded as a pretty low tier character by a lot of big competitive names and needs meter to do most of her damage. Still fun to play as, so I don't really care, but they'll probably give her some buffs. I didn't see anyone pick her in the Comic-con stream, but I didn't watch the whole thing. The stream was mostly STRIDER AND GHOST RIDER VS MARVEL VS CAPCOM anyway, caus everyone was just picking them and it was a bit boring.

Indeed. When I went to research on him, he didn't appear to have that many appearances. The thing about him that makes him relevant is that he's in an ongoing series of comics right now. Like Spidey says, it's up to Marvel to pick who they want representing their side- what Marvel wants is to promote characters in ongoing or recent works.

Destructoid: I'm going to ask something you've probably already heard a few times since today's announcement: Why wouldn't this release just be downloadable add-on content instead of a disc?

Niitsuma: After the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 there were plans to release DLC. But, as you know, less than a month after the game was released we had the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. That had an impact on everything, and it threw off our whole development schedule. We decided that instead of doing the DLC we could put it all together in one package, add some additional stuff to make it robust and deliver it as a disc.

Whether you choose to believe it or not is up to you. I still don't really care much, but knowing Capcom they're just lying to cover their asses. At least they're still pretty much saying "we need more money, so had to do this" just in a nicer way. More like "we got hit hard, so please understand that we need more money."

Today was kind of an emotional rollercoaster for series fans. Some where unsure of what to think when the game was first announced. But later, when the new characters were leaked, people said things like 'Oh, Phoenix Wright? I'm definitely buying this.'

Couldn't help but imagine Coolface.jpg at this part. For everyone that wanted Nick in this game, there are a ton of people completely against his conclusion. Especially X fans that demanded real fighters, like Megaman, get in.

Tron's Gustaff Fire and a.H are nerfed. I swear to god if they touch my character anymore...

The first 4 new characters were pretty cool, but the leaked ones have me disappointed. I don't see why the game needs 3 DMC characters and 4 Resident Evil ones. Dr. Strange deserves his spot, seeing as there's like 3 of his villains in the game already, but there are far more recognizable characters than Rocket Raccoon and Nova.

I'm glad I kind of foresaw this happening back in February though. I never ended up getting Marvel 3 since I knew I'd still have regular access to the game (and had regular access for quite a while when my PS3 was still on 3.55). Without Megaman or Gene in the game though, I really don't know if I want it. I especially don't know if I want to pick up another fighter to play in tournaments. Just playing Blazblue, Arcana Heart and Street Fighter feels like I'm spreading myself thinly as it is.
