What you think about PvP so far?

i get 3k or so most rounds. It's the most fun I think i've had in maple in years. I don't really lag there at all and I dc at bosses all the time. I just use paralyze/fire demon and hit everyone in the map with DoTs. I'd say 60% of my kills are DoT kills and happen when i'm completely off the screen or in a dead. I don't think I've gone a match yet where i wasn't number 1 and champion for 90% of the match.

For the emblems how long after did kms get to choose their own recipe instead of random wondering if i should save........

I don't think I'll ever get 1k points on my DrK. Best I've ever gotten was like 500.

well, i mix SD into the mix, but if you see more than 2 people throwing a fight, grab an attack boost, sneak behind them, and crusher them all to death, any tries to run, you have magnet and roar to prevent them from escaping, i actually don't use magnet unless the guy is seriously dying in 2 hits or so.

Maybe it's the lag, but I dunno, I simply cannot do jackshit when I'm playing as my drk. SD has like 5 sec cooldown and other skills seem to suck so much ass. Meh, I can live without that perma equip on my drk.

For 1/10th the time put into getting it, it's a great temporary pad before making one's own with professions.

I did a lot of free for all games but i started to hate them because all of the time this would happen. * Blasting enemy to death, almost dead and just a scratch on me! Someone comes kills him i get no points. Rage* Or * Enemy super weak but they FJ\tele\combat step away from me forever until they get 3\4 hp or get killed by someone else. Rage*. So i tried team death match and its soooo much better i dont think ill be playing FFA any time soon.

Spam Buster and Roar. I do this in every match and I easily rack up 1500 - 2000. Anytime I die I look for the place where the most players are and jump down and hit em all with a roar which racks up 50 - 100 each time. Actually, just spam roar whenever you get a chance. A lot of times I steal a kill thanks to roar.

And then realising that points are based on damage and not kills, so the time the thief spent running away looking for health powerups actually hurts him more than it helps.

So points don't go down if you die then?

Nope. You can die a thousand times and still end up in first place.

I dont care much but...

lol a no delay hacker attacked my aran... got pwned by spamming Tornado spin XD XD

Another one attacked my Dawk Warrior... Used trolldriver and every enemy on the range died XD

I'm depressed all over again about just how bad hurricane is in pvp. I don't know who decided that it was too good for pvp (I'm going to assume its more because of "lag" that they cut down the number of arrows), but I hate them. .

Also pineapple flash jumping theives to hell.

Ok everyone, if you have a character with a skill similar to Rush or Jaguar Rawr, go ahead and use is on someone while they're jumping/falling/standing at the edge of a platform. It's freaking hilarious!

I also have to say that Rush can be used in some pretty douchey ways. I was racing a Night Lord to a health potion while Recovery was on cooldown, so I rushed him past the potion and took it as he flew of the platform and got transformed into a snake by a mystery pot he looted accidentally!

This is actually why I love my Dual Blade (3rd Job).

Flying Assaulter and Tornado Spin let me juggle everyone around like crazy.
Too many people fighting me on a high platform? FA all but one off! They fly so pretty!

I was actually getting really pissed at this Nightwalker last night because he'd stand at the edge of the middle platform throwing stars until someone got his HP down enough.
He'd then Flash Jump to the side and heal up. F'n ridiculous.

DoT is rather broken

Despite the fact that it would be abused I wished there was a 1 on 1 PvP mode.

same, wish there was some sort of "no exp/points mode where you can make a party of 4+, and those get pitted in FFA.
