What you think about PvP so far?

I've had unbearable lag for several matches, but when I didn't lag I think PvP is actually really fun

even if I'm the slowest

Lag like crazy, yet I'm usually in the Top 3. I'm tempted to get mystery boxes, but I think I'll just save up for that nice looking pocket item.

just so u guys know being in diff ch doesnt matter lol, players from diff ch tele to the same place u do if its got room

I don't lag, I can casts buffs and have them instantly work. Yet the cooldowns on Outlaws are completely insane. I can use triple shot once every 2 seconds, recoil shot has became completely useless due to the cooldown and flamethrower and ice splitter are terrible on their own, and can't be combo'd due to the cooldowns.

Apparently pvp seems to be on a separate server than reg MS
I was in ch 8, and entered pvp and found two of my friends in the same lobby. I tracked them and it said"xxxxx is at Windia-16" even though they were both right next to me. Same thing when they tracked me, they said it said "Blades4hire is at Windia-8". I'm guessing these new servers couldn't handle the volume of people, resulting in immense lag

Going to save up for the pocket item now. Took me about 3hrs to get 2.5k+ BP and I somehow ended up with 12 emblems, so shouldn't be too bad.

ok, warriors are really broken, pallies have the insane dodge rate while the other 2 have magnet, but rush+mob+magic crash is overkill xD

Magic Crash is god-tier. I love my Drk so much.

Gotta hate Wild Hunters, though. When I'm low on HP, there's guaranteed to be one of them around, casting at me a meaningful look then pouncing on their beast and chase me around the map. With a machine gun.

Atleast they can't teleport toward you while casting a chain that pulls you toward them and stuns you, then go into uber invincibility tornado mode and destroy you while all your attacks have no effect. When you finally manage to get an attack off, they drain it back instantaneously.
God BaMs are OP in PvP

just fought my first bam, and i had never seen so many "no damage" not even against a paladin, wtp.

also, there was this DB who kept chasing me <.< he ended 7th and i ended 3rd TROLOL

I also lag like hell (can only attack every 3 seconds), yet I really enjoy PvP so far. My best score is 704.

AMs/Bishops with Mana Reflection are the bane of my existence. Reflection tends to kill me before I can kill them.

I love it. Really good exp for my level (186). I think playing with almost no lag helps though. I have around 36 gallant embelms so far, I thought it was going to be harder to farm them. Though I hit 6k points in one match and dced at the vvery end....

haha. PvP makes me with I had Blood Drain maxed!!
I don't think that's possible without ruining your build though.

Overall, I'm loving PvP. Just tried it on my Pali and BaM so far.

Took a while getting used to it on my BaM. But, yeah, a winning strategy involves attacking, teleporting away, and then chaining. Even without stun, 'grab' skills cause your opponent to stall for a bit, allowing for hits.

My Pali tends to just not die at all in Team Matches (which are my favorite).
Only problem I have is that, because we lack a 'grab' skill or a mobility skill (to a certain extent since Rush requires a person to be in range), I lose a lot of would-be kills due to people simply running away.
Oh, and, oddly enough, we can't use CB at all in the 70+ category presumably because it doesn't separate ACB's passive effect.

About to try out my Blade Lord, but having a blast so far.
Lag is inconsistent, but mostly bearable.

I haven't had this fun on maple in years. And I don't even "win" most of the matches.

Sums up my feelings exactly.

It's weird to actually have to think about what I'm doing.

Implying anything in Maple has ever been "Balanced"

Love pvp. I find it hilarious when I run into a bunch of noobs that don't know what the buffs do . But basically how to win at pvp: Hoard all of the atk buffs.

That "NO-HIT" thing is from an invincibility buff that can be obtained through those mystery potions lying on the ground, they have random effects that are pulled from all of the other potions that drop. Those same potions can also transform you into a random monster so you can't attack, so it's a bit of a gamble.
