Finally bought Akali to complete my stealth collection. She's so fun but I definitely need more practice. Wish I had the IP for her unique runes though. Maybe someday...

And while I was reading the thing, a crazy thought popped into my head. What if Flash as a Summoner Spell was scrapped, but you could acquire a shot of it by slaying a specific neutral? It's not meant to be a correct design decision, just something that's interesting and provocative.

Or y'know, the Blink Dagger which was the original source of Flash in DotA.

Its frustrating when you go support and find you cant really do anything once you start losing.

As much fun as Soraka is, when theres a teamfight you arn't going to be providing any damage, just heals on a cd thats too long to help enough. :'(

I wouldn't be surprised if Zileas or whoever is running the design department these days decides to take this step of implementing a "Blink Dagger" item.

Did you see his preview? I have high expectations for The Monkey king. He's my favorite mythical character ever.

I think having Yordle Stompers with 1 bonus movespeed instead of 2 would be a suitable replacement for Flash. It's still not a "waste" but you are giving something up to get the Flash.

but the range and cooldown would obviously have to be changed from 1400 per 10 sec or whatever.

On another note, I'm reinventing my lee sin and changing my item paths as well as skill paths thanks to sycho sid's guide on solomid. Dear god he's good with lee sin.

I never said it was news. I was merely saying that if they end up removing Flash, then could we see the return of the Alpha items with built-in "Flash", such as the pocket watch, blink dagger, etc?
The URL linking was for convenience for others who might have not known about the alpha / beta items. Hell, it would be linked anyways considering if people started mentioning old / removed items and other people started questioning about said items

As we all know, recent events that occurred in the past forty eight hours shook most of the League of Legends community. NESL Heads decided that it is time to release a statement that should explain everything.
At first we would like to apologize to all the parties that have been negatively affected in any way by the occurrence of these recent events including the competitive community as a whole. We would like to inform the community that JadenTheBroker and Orcasm have decided to step down from their duties as League of Legend tournament officials. Both of them recognized the harm in their actions and decided to resign on their own rather than burden the National ESL with a lengthy review process.

Likewise, in respect for the competitive community and the rules set in place for player conduct, Counter Logic Gaming will be given 4 Minor Penalty Points. The blog post made by their team violated a player confidentiality rule by releasing a private chat between an admin and a player.

3.3 Confidentiality
The content of support tickets, discussions, players forum, or any other correspondence between the NESL officials and its participants are deemed strictly confidential, and publication of any such material or information should not be made public knowledge without the written permission of the NESL administration.

These penalty points will be applied according to the Intel Extreme Masters Rules, which includes a prize money reduction of 4% for the event in question, the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge Cologne at Gamescom. This in no way condones the behavior of NESL Admins. It is a goal of the NESL to increase the professionalism of the competitive League of Legends through not only rules, but through leadership and actions as well. It's a double edged sword.
Make the post -> NESL Officials step down -> 4% Money penalty.
Don't make the post -> NESL Officials don't step down -> No Money penalty.

I honestly think it was worth the penalty considering how unprofessional those officials were. How they were ever picked as such is beyond me.
