The EU Split. I'm just assuming Ray preemptively said that since they'll have two EU servers in some hours.
Mind if you guys give your opinions in regards to jungling with Cho'Gath?

He is currently classified as a Tier 1 jungler on Stonewall's jungler list.

I recently revived playing jungle Cho'Gath after reading (and seeing Stonewall's) videos about jungling with Cho'Gath. Made quite a bit of changes to my runes and mastery setups, and this time everything worked out when I tested it in a custom game. I'm now using it in games if my team needs someone to cover both tank and jungle roles. (I have used jungle Cho in one normal game [lost] and one ranked game [won] to this date)

(In normal games, I would normally use Amumu, but if I feel like to play something else for a change, I have the option of jungling with Cho. Though in ranked games, especially at my ELO, Amumu's constantly banned so I have to find something else to cover the jungling and tanking roles)

Early on, he's not blue reliant (he can take blue at level 3, and can live on whatever mana he has beforehand. Just make sure you make good use of Rupture before level 3). One of the things I like to do at the beginning is to start at mini-golems on the enemy side, and steal it. If I can, I might go ahead and steal their wraiths camp afterwards before hightailing back to my own jungle. That way I pretty much deprived the enemy jungler of experience, and I'm ahead of the enemy jungler a bit experience-wise

Though after level 6, he is quite scary in the counter-jungling department. He now has two abilities in which he can use to deprive enemy jungler very well: Smite and Rupture. If you want to go steal Elder Lizard, Ancient Golem, Dragon, or even Baron, you have two chances to do so, basically.

Though his downside is that his ganking capabilities is somewhat teammate-dependent. Rupture is a skillshot, and if you don't land it, that's a bad gank right there. Hence, it was argued by Stonewall himself that to have a successful gank with Cho, your teammate should have CCs that can disable the target enough for you to land a good Rupture.

What are your thoughts on jungle Cho? (besides the typical "Cho is better in lane and you know it". I already know that. That's not what I'm looking for)
Jungle cho is very strong, but his lane precense is pretty ridiculous. Jungle if you don't have one but don't ask to do it when you have someone else offering to imo.
I have to say, I'm a tad anxious for this jungle remake. I've tried jungling a few times and it's always felt very linear, which really put me off x.x
Only junglers I actually genuinely enjoy playing a lot are shaco and udyr.... How I wish my clown were to be buffed.

EU West
EU Nordic
EU East

tl;dr - too many people in one server --> server stability issues

pretty much counter jungle a lot. you got the early stuff down and sounds good for solo queue type games(i wouldnt do it in premades). But just put a lot of pressure on blue/red after lvl 6. Being able to prevent them from smiting with two moves and having two smites of your own is pretty dam strong.

When i used to jungle cho i would start at wraiths for some reason, i think maybe it let me start with something other than cloth armor?
Hmm maybe if you could start at wraiths with regrowth, clear wraiths>wolves>blue and blue pill with enough gold to get philo stone. That would not have been what i was doing but maybe this could work? but either way im sure stonewall has a good path mapped out as he normally seems to do.

edit; will can you link the video you are talking about? all i can find is the old one(6 months ago)

Stonewall posted a video a couple of days back - 20 minutes long - talking about how jungle Cho is extremely versatile in terms of the item build, rune setups, mastery setups, and jungle paths you can use on him for jungling. Some of the builds he used was Cloth Armor + 5 pots, Regrowth Pendant + 1 Health Pot (my preferred early-game jungle items), or Doran's Ring.

The thread (on LoL forums)

If I jungle Cho, I make sure to get Philo Stone so I can maximize my sustain in the jungle + get the Gold per 5 effect (we're talking about 40+ HP5 and 20+ MP5 by end of early game phase, which is pretty damn nice, especially when you combine it with Carnivore). Otherwise I'll usually tank myself up afterwards. If I'm doing really, really well, I might get RoA.

I heard that Nordic and East are one server.

Ninjaed you by one minute + videofied. Biggrin
So if anyone's been following Guinsoo's "rage" in the thread that got really fking large really fking fast, the priority number one in the upcoming changes months down the road is to decrease lane passivity. The retooling of red buff was just one of the small items in a whole list of changes. It's all one gigantic balancing act that's going on.

Flash and juking have been mentioned multiple times.

Jungling and counterjungling should be elements of the game, but the difficulty of doing so shouldn't be so high that newbies can't jungle effectively. Nor should the difficulty of jungling be so great that champs that are jungling-able also end up being OP in lane. Overall, junglers should be able to enjoy the farm and exp that laners enjoy... to a point. If they don't participate in ganking, they will fall behind.

Minions may do less damage, as they only respond to auto-attacks. This hurts DPS carry champs early on, who suffer from ability-oriented champs (everyone else except maybe passive/aura champs). Personally, I can say I've been very wary of minions early game when playing Ashe and Koggles (but I didn't care much when playing Cho due to defensive masteries), and in other instances where hard CC was at my disposal, I've often used minions to my advantage if the opponent tried to get the jump on me too soon.

And while I was reading the thing, a crazy thought popped into my head. What if Flash as a Summoner Spell was scrapped, but you could acquire a shot of it by slaying a specific neutral? It's not meant to be a correct design decision, just something that's interesting and provocative.
Just played a normal game as Udyr. Did very well early on...but one huge complaint is.....my internet was NOT lagging when I was farming/jungling, but during teamfights, lagspikes start happening from nowhere. Cost me the capability to take out the carries/squishies pretty hard. Coupled with Shaco leaving in the middle of the game, it was GG. Wth? =\

On a positive note...Udyr is so damn good now. I can see why he is banned in mid-ELO ranked play.

Nordic and East are together in 1 Server.

to think in about 1 hour ill be able to play league with 55 ping again and not 200. The free 14 day IP boost will help me finish my rune pages too.
Monkey king reminds me of Phantom Lancer, which saddens me because I was never very good at playing PL.
Thing is, the current proposed change to red buff makes Flash stronger, not weaker.
Monkey King looks lame. I'm disappoint.
