Just played a 4v4 ranked match. Yeah, you heard me right. 4v4. 1 leaver on both sides, which kind of evened things out (Udyr was afking also, which was surprising. He was the other team's jungler too). So with me on jungle Cho, my team had 3 solo lanes, which proved to be a huge advantage for us later in the game.
Anticipating the Udyr starting at blue, I started out at the mini-golem camp at the enemy side, and took it out as fast as I could. Knowing that Udyr could clear out camps quite fast nowadays, I decided not to try to steal the wraiths camp. I hightailed it back to the wolf camp on my team's side, and started working my way up to the mini-golem camp. After I bluepilled, I took blue, then went to relieve bottom (Ezreal) since he was being pressured a bit. After forcing the enemy back, I went back to jungling, then attempted a gank on the enemy Morde at top, albeit with some success.
Mid game, things started to heat up. The enemy team started to get together and push as a whole. We were having problems calling out MIAs to each other, and so we made an effort to improve communications between each other. We slowly started dominating teamfights, and after we won one in the river and pushed up to their mid base turret, they surrendered.
(Oh and if anyone was wondering, yes I did get the typical "wt'f" comments as jungle Cho from my own teammates. Still did my job though, but satisfactory. Also, note the slight difference in the build that I'm using for Cho specifically for jungling with him)

You ever just stop giving a pomegranate as the game loads?
Let me preface by saying the previous game involved a bad Soraka. You can't roll her into any team comp. It just doesn't work out.
So I'm in champ select. We get TF and Sona. Sure. The third guy is rolling through every champion he has. I. Fucking. Hate. That.
So I think, "pineapple it, I'll see if he makes up his mind if I choose Corki"
Naaaah.
So he's still spinning through champs and the last guy hasn't picked anyone.
Spinner lets himself end upon Tryndamere.
I manage to switch to Maokai with literally no time on the clock.
Last guy never did lock in.
He gets randomed as Soraka.
pineapple.
We end up against Mord, Cait, Kat, GP, and Brand. Five of the strongest solo champs in the game right now. Four ignites. Two Exhausts.
...
Tryndamere gives up FB in the bottom bush. Doesn't face-check it. Was already in it. Didn't wait for Sona. GP and Kat walk in and kill him.
TF gives a death in mid.
Soraka has died once with me. Cait and Mord zone me half the time. I can't put up the DPS to do pomegranate.
TF hits six and attempts to gank Caitlyn top. We're already 0-6 at this point. I admit I wasn't paying attention. We all die. My first death.
TF quits.
I explain I honestly didn't give a pomegranate from the loading screen, but I wouldn't troll. Just don't expect me to play aggressively with a mediocre burst champion on the team at a tremendous disadvantage.
Soraka is glad to have a reason to report me now. I kinda hope she did, since the rest of the team made me look like a saint by the end of the game.
Tryn dies at bot again and Sona comes back laughing.
"I heard your ult go off so I tabbed back in from reddit to see Kat shove that dagger up your ass"
We half-assedly defend. Die some more. Soraka stops playing after our first base turret goes down.
So it's just me and that Tryndamere dicking around as they win in 19 minutes. Dying more in the process of course.

Red post sighted!
Guinsoo Wrote:The main problem with the slow on Lizard is that it means if you get caught by it overextended, you die. A haste will make it so that that man can kill you, not that man's team can kill you (if you get caught).
This is an integral cog in increasing early game activity (knowing you're not GUARANTEED to die if you get caught out of position means you can be more aggressive), making the jungle more accessible to low level summoners, making the jungle less sensitive to counter jungling (right now it's too big of a swing if you get counter jungled, although I will concede this is the weakest point in the system that needs to be solved), allowing more champions to jungle, making Smite less necessary, allowing non-jungle champions to jungle more (in other words allow role flexibility WITHIN a game not just between games), and probably at least half a dozen major goals as well, and for actually increasing skill differentiation within the jungle.
One of my major problems with the jungle right now is that due to the long respawn timers, there actually is little choice for the player - you have a set route and you gank (generally) when your jungle is clear. There are times when you vary this, but for the most part this is what you do. We'd like to make it so that at all given points, junglers have more interesting choices for what they want to do - should I level up, gank, invade, etc? Ideally they'd all be more valuable for actually doing, but have a higher opportunity cost for doing so - in other words they're all good options but you have to pick what would be most advantageous for your team.
I agree that some champions are hit harder by the loss of slow on Lizard than others (Master Yi for example) but in general those champions are the ones that are going to benefit most from the other side of this coin - reducing monster spawns and making so that if you just sit and farm your jungle, you will earn more resources. In general it will work out, and we can tune the cases that don't.
Also, the jungle is hard enough right now such that we have to make champions basically OP to succeed in the jungle - see Warwick, Udyr.

Not to mention, making red buff a haste slightly increases your jungle time.

I forgot about the 60sec respawn timer change. It'll definitely be a major boost to jungling for sure.

Notice the timestamp, it's nearly 2 months old. What's even more sad is majority of the posters in that topic and ANOTHER employee 100% agreed with JohnnyUtah.
I remember the LoL forums when that was posted. People were like "Can you imagine if Riot trashtalked like that to us!?" Some people were even trying to provoke Riot into doing it for shits and giggles

I never particularly had problems with maple's server stability. Just the countless bugs that came with every patch, but even then they were fixed in a fraction of the time it takes riot to do what they do poorly.

Right now the NA server is taking the stress of three servers since EU's down.

Uh....no offense but you sure you want to say that? Riot at least sees the problem almost immediately and quickly tries to find fixes to it. I don't see Nexon doing immediate fixes within minutes of them (or the community themselves) finding the problem. Tbh if you think Riot is pretty bad in server stability, dunno what's Nexon been high on in the past few weeks with their slew of problems in their own servers themselves.
Riot on the other hand have guys spending overnight at the offices actively working on the problem once its discovered and don't sleep until the job is done. Tbh, they're pretty good at seeing technical problems on their end and making their best efforts to find and troubleshoot the problem. They may have a lot of bugs that pop up that I sometimes may not be happy about (and wish it won't happen again so I can go and enjoy a couple hours of LoL without any technical hiccups impeding my free time), but at least they are actively trying to find solutions.
tl;dr - I'd say that even though there's been a lot of issues lately with LoL, Riot is pretty good when it comes to IDing technical problems within minutes and trying to find fixes for it (though I wish they could communicate to their players a bit more about it). Nexon though....well good thing I got out of playing MS a few months back. Bugs took too long to fix, their communication capabilities are much worse than Riot (and you know they have pretty damn f'ucking bad customer service. And if LoL players think the game's customer service is terrible, good news, there's something worse). Never regretted it.
And right now EU servers are down, and lots of Europeans are trying to play here, straining servers a bit.

*Points to S2's server stability*
I lol'd if you think Riot's stability is even remotely bad.

About the red buff revamp - I don't know what Riot is thinking, but you sure that the slow debuff will always kill people 100% of the time? Overextending my ass, that's what you gotta watch your back and know when you're pushing things too far in your lane. >_>

The TL;DR about the red buff changes is that the concept and ideas behind it are very young. It might be a while before we see the changes, if any, come to the public realm.
Here's another post for you guys to chew on.

It just came to my attention, so...
I just looked up the thread just for kicks. Here's what I'm getting:
--Half of the posters are sheeps/idiots/trolls/trashtalkers/morons. They assume the OP is a noob, when he's actually one of the best.
--Some of the employees for S2 are former competitive players of the MOBA genre. Apparently manners and charisma wasn't high on their qualifications list.

Wait, EU has two servers?
EDIT: I just saw the Wukong preview, and... he seems to be a lot like the physical version of LeBlanc in terms of trickery, only with less CC, more AoE.

I meant four when I said three. Server split.
