Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

ok so thats magic pen, some sort of mana regen, cooldown reduction and ap quints. I understand cost is a factor, but just going to give you some ideas where cost is not a factor. Your runes are more set up for an ap taric build, but from the few screenshots ive seen posted you only build support/tanky items. Either build is fine, just some runes are going to help more than other depending on what you are building.

AP taric would use 9/0/21, runes similar to yours and build ap, notably an early deathcap.

Support/tank taric would use an item build close to what you have but would go 0/9/21 and use something like armor reds, armor or mana regen yellows, magic resist blues and health or movespeed quints.
Been lagging HORRIBLY on LoL today >_<
Team comp sucks when my team is made of idiots.
Last game it was my Team: Cho (me), Rene, Lee, Cass and Morde. not ideal but we had a tank, 2 AD and 2 AP.
Enemy team was: Twitch, Xin, Blitz, Olaf and lux. The first 4 all went AD builds, lux went AP.

They TRASHED top and mid, and my lane partner Rene, loved to jump on the enemy and die. I had to be taken down 5v1 with all my armor and cho's natural high HP, but my team loved to go alone, and getting killed by twitch, or found by their 2 clairvoyances and then dieing.
You lost to twitch with morde on your team ._.

That hurts.
I'm on my way to full defeats match history!
I'm starting to find Singed as a very solid pick in ranked; been playing him in almost of all ranked matches I've played (assuming I can pick him up). If this continues, I could have a solid record with Singed (5-3 atm) and hopefully raise myself above 1200 ELO.

(Sad thing is [no pun intended] is that Amumu's always banned in low-ELO ranked matches, and I have an excellent track record with him. 8-3 to be exact. QQ Frown)

Hopefully I can hit 1250 ELO before soft reset sets in. >_>

Oh and on a trolling note....last ranked game I decided just for the kicks to get a Philo Stone and see how much HP/Mana regen I could rack up when I turn my ultimate on. Result? HP/Mana regen insanity at its best. Singed too good!

A Singed on my team went Warmog's first followed by FoN. I facepalmed a little, but he did a fine job. I'd like to see what his HP regen was.

His base HP regen was likely over 100 HP/5 seconds, assuming he has a fully charged Warmog and has FoN in his possesion. That's pretty nuts at that level.

If we factor Singed's ultimate.......well no one can kill him. Likely healing close to (or possibly over) 200 HP/5 seconds? He'd be indestructible! Ultimate troll achieved!
Oh God just had a 4v5 ranked and we were actually winning. Final moment it was a base race, we aced them and went to push but no one stayed to defend against the minions and they won by a few seconds Sad
>Leona says she's going AP when game starts

So, I played a match that I was doing pretty well in. But it ended in us surrendering because top lane fed Cat so much that the game ended with her having like 25 kills, mostly from being fed, when everyone else on the team only got 1 or 2 with only a few assists coming from team fights that included her. I don't like blaming others though, I'll try to work harder at being better at holding my own weight.
But blaming others is the reason for the season! Big Grin

That is when you ask for a lane change.

This bastard Teemo kept on overextending, and kept on blaming me everytime he died. WHY YOU NO USE YOUR STUN?!?? I DID USE MY STUN IDIOT, IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU DON'T DAMM NOTICE HE WAS STUNNED.

I had a perfect score by the end (0 deaths, but like 6-0-17). We won, though.

You don't even need it, my Singed build yields 103 HP regen without Warmog's. Just use Strength of Spirit and stack mana.
Just read up a new thread - created by Stonewall - regarding Jungle Cho'Gath on the LoL forums

After reading the thread - and the video he made - I think I might test jungle Cho'Gath out in custom games very soon. Gonna test out the new jungling route Stonewall suggested, with one of the many runes/mastery setups he recommended.

One thing I learned was that Cho is NOT blue buff-reliant early on. (Though you have to bluepill back to the fountain once while you're jungling, but whatever)

cho has always been atleast decent in the jungle, maybe he is even stronger now. But he is still going to run into the issue of why jungle on cho when he is so strong in lane. Im not saying its bad to learn how to jungle with him, i just think you(anyone) would be better off learning a more dedicated jungler(mumu/fid/noc/nunu/trundle/etc) and keep practicing cho in lane.

edit: will the learning other champs wasnt aimed at you like it might sound due to my wording, just speaking in general.

on a side note, seen hotshot play cho a few times the last couple days and he keeps getting pretty tanky(FoN, frozenheart, and maybe one more item) then getting wits end for a damage item. Would be interesting to see some numbers comparing wits end to abyssal.

You're lucky you saved your own hide. I was just about to bag on you for that comment. You do know that I jungle with a variety of champs, right? Look at my siggy Rolleyes

Edit: I just tried Jungle Cho. Used AS red, armor yellow, and MR (flat) blues. Masteries was 1/13/16. Started off with Regrowth Pendant + 1 HP pot.

I did try starting out at the enemy mini-golem camp (testing counter-jungling techniques), it was not bad. Though if I were to try taking out the enemy wraiths camp afterwards, that could be a problem because I'll be low. And depending how fast the enemy jungler comes around, I could get caught. If I know the jungler will be through his route very fast, I might just take their mini-golem camp only and just continue on jungling on my side.

I might test him again using the same mastery + rune setup, but with cloth armor + 5 HP pots.

Otherwise he's pretty solid. I might not take blue until level 3-4; I don't plan to spam Rupture so much for early-game jungling
Holy moley just got out of a game on MF. Leona Jarvan Vayne Sona Annie.

Would get quadruple cc'd and just be gone before i could even attempt to flash out. Course the random TF and Rumble on our team both had 10 deaths each, along with rumble disconnecting all the time..
