What do YOU want the GMS exclusive content to be/think it is?
Coogi Wrote:You couldn't give a straight answer not once but twice...Does that remind you of a specific company? Wink

Honestly, it sounds like you're just butt hurt because you can't log on.

Just looks to me like your one of the people that go "God, I hate this game, fail ass Nexon can't keep their game up, can't keep hackers away, I want WIZET back." Next thing you know your at CVS with nexon cards in your hand, Lol.

I'm also waiting for Takerback guy to peach and moan once the next content comes out that isn't for level 160+ then start the rant that "us high levels never get high level content" even though we just got future hene.

peaching here and there is fin and normal but when almost all your posts are nothing but complaining, you know you have an issue.

Wow, I was just waiting for you to respond just to smack you around, but holy crap: How many openings do you even want to leave yourself?

How about this? I'll give you another chance to edit your post before I make fun of you.

My favorite threats are empty threats.

This may sound like a dumb question, but what's wrong with that really? Economy has already been destroyed as it is. As far as I know, standard reliable sources of income have been destroyed in both BB and Chaos. Hackers run the market almost entirely...

It might just be my >10% potential self talking, but I don't see a problem with evening the playing field somewhat.

All that said though, the initial idea was entirely unrealistic for what NEXON would do. And I really doubt they would want to try and represent America if they had the option.

As for my opinion of what's coming; I could care less actually. There have been no signs of this company conceiving masterpieces as of late, so I'm not really going to pay attention. If something nice comes, great, I'm surprised; but if not, so what? My personal goals are based upon things that could have been accomplished since ToT was released, and once I've completed those, I'm done. Level 200 and max damage are vastly overrated.

tl;dr Don't get your hopes up. Low expectations make life a whole lot easier to deal with.

High five!

Of course though, a lot of people on this forum have a serious issue when it comes to trying to act gruff and tough.

Okay so excuse me while I be stupid for a moment here. But the next patch, since there's no data for the exclusive content, will be version 1.00 for GMS. Which...is a pretty big deal, right? Well for some reason I feel like due to that they'll give us Cody's Theme Park...either than or they'll slap on a lame episode 2 or a half-baked Masteria update.

I'm thinking it might be this.

Forgive my ignorance but what's special about v1.00? It's just a new version number, new update or whatever. Why are people making something special of it other than to validate their personal need for some special superstitious values?

Because turning 10 in real life gives you double digits. When you turn 100 it's also a sort of big party (even if you probably don't know what partying is by then). It's just the official committed, containing new content, 100th patch (without fixing patches).

Other than that I have no idea what Nexon wants to bring in. The Crimsonwood Keep forest was pretty cool while it lasted until Big Bang screwed most of it.

If they did a Masteria update, and that's a big if, how would you rank the likelihood of the content?

Everyone that wants the pirate boss in CWKPQ... it doesn't fit. At all. There are four grandmasters. Pirates are split between Rellik and Hsalf. Adding a grandmaster would have massive ramifications, including removing pirate skills from these two and adding a separate kind of monster corresponding to the grandmaster.

Go ahead, you'd only prove my point. Wink

Prove what point? The fact you can only make assumptions without knowing anything about the opposite party?

I'm actually going to expand on my earlier idea (posted as Darkmonkey13). Sorry for any spelling mistakes, my G key is broken. I'll be avoiding words with G in them as much as possible.

something pomegranatey with mounts. Remember the issues with the Police mounts and the cake chairs, that were scheduled to be fixed in a later patch, scheduled for August 10th? That fits for the expected 5th part date. It will probably be an expansion of the WH's capture skill, and be able to let you ride it. Just because Nexon hates us all.
So. Just because Nexon hates structural integrity in their games, they'll be doing a new monster capture/taming skill, similar to the Familiars or Soul Weapons in JMS. It would probably be linked to the Taru, who would be the center of your quests for the Masteria expansion. You would be able to tame a Krakian monster, and as you trained, it would level up with you, and you would be able to improve a basic set of equips with the power (similar to Visitor equips). You would also be able to ride the monster for periods of time (with a cooldown that decreased as your monster leveled), buffing your speed, jump, attack, and defense, as well as letting you use certain skills specific to your monster, similar to the Eagle Eye, Tranform, Battleship, or models of the Mechanic's robot. There would be several monster choices, each catering to a specific player type (ie, very fast but low defense, tank, I-frames out the tail, slow but ranged, etc), or if Nexon was lazy, just stat-based.
Yeah, I'm bored.

If that worked on all monsters, I would love that, even though it's not exactly exclusive

And how are those in any way ''massive ramifications''?

I hope it's Old Sapp Village because it represents America's past like the Native Americans.

Soul Weapons in JMS? Damn I wish we had that. They totally rocked in Mabinogi.

And about taming mobs? I would ride a snail. I don't care how little HP they have.

No, it would just be on certain Krakian monsters. And yes, it would be completely exclusive. It's the illegitimate child of Familiars, the Visitor Equips and Weapons, and Spirit Weapons, raised in the wilderness by the Taru tribe. It would be different from any single update before, though it would take ideas from the aforementioned.
Remind me to work as a content developer for Nexon, one of these days.

How else would they help you? or is it just more poor wording from nexon?
Moral support, duh.
