What do YOU want the GMS exclusive content to be/think it is?

Gregory Wrote:Sorry for being clueless, but what is Krakia?
A civilization "lost" in the Krakian Jungle in which plants used Cybernetic enhancements to take over and completely destroy the Taru civilization(minus a few). IIRC they wanted to launch an attack on CWK and or the Grandmasters were looking for them. I know Foxwit and the Barricade bros were.

That sounds very interesting. Do want.

IsaacGS Wrote:10. Krakia, the lost city
Krakia is an expansion which has only appeared on the expansion radar since Thanksgiving 2007. It's a lost city that was located in the Krakian Jungle (where the jungle's name comes from.) and populated by people who made good use of cybernetic enhancements. Dr. Krakia, Professor Foxwit's evil nemesis, has seemingly found this town and set up his base here, where the Turkey Commandos are produced. They seem like they are only a trial of things to come... I would expect this place to be a "Mad Scientist's Lair" type area, filled with monsters that have been improved with cybernetic implants and/or other scientific means. Additionally, if Dr. Krakia and Foxwit know each other, then it seems likely that Krakia is also from the future (or maybe even the past...) The other Krakian item, the Stone Tiger Head, seems to imply that it is from the same culture that created the Taru Totem and all the strange primitive monuments on Masteria.

The first monster we have seen that was produced in Krakia.
Update 2
we learned a lot about Krakia with the Crimsonwood patch. Krakia was a town of secretive plant-people who lived deep in the Krakian jungle. One day, after centuries of being peaceful, they suddenly went on the war path and wiped out the Taru. Corine's family seems to be the only survivors of this massacre. After the Taru fell, the Krakia began to attack the Keep. While the Krakians weren't very skilled in the arts of war, they had numbers on their side, as well as a size advantage, and the war went on for many years. It was eventually discovered and made known (to Ridley, Taggrin, Lita, and others) that the Krakians were being manipulated by an evil Alchemist. Is this Alchemist the Black Magician of Ossyria, or perhaps Foxwit's enemy, Professor Krakia? We don't know yet, but we should all expect to see Krakia once Crimsonwood's chapter is complete.
New info:
Dr. Krakia, as mentioned in his personal description, has been seen aiding the Twisted Masters in invading NLC. There can be no doubt now; Krakia WILL be the next Masteria area released.
From Isaac's Masteria thread. Guys just wanted to point this out. Who remembers from the first "Testers" video there was a folder called "Masteria Expansion." Yeah I know there was a "funny cats" folder but troll or not it was still there >.>

I'd think such moss and complaints would get infractions by now but I know that won't happen since Eos is a complainer himself. Not as bad as some members but still a complainer.

It's always funny to see those who hate a game so much that they can't help but to continue to obsess over it after they've quit.

The art is good.
The writing is lacking.

Can we please just be content to say "it might be a Masteria Expansion"?

It's always funny that people assume things without even knowing the details first. Except in my case, I'm practically forced to quit because I can't even LOG ON (that's the unfunny part).

Is this the part where I'm discouraged from replying because you make a dangerous enemy?

Seriously though...
You should probably double check my post seeing as I wasn't referring to anyone in particular.

I can log on just fine. Have you tried turning your computer off and on? Smile

Seeing as how I'm the direct target of the person you quoted, it's not hard to figure out how you're referring to, indirectly or not. Either way, yes, this is the part where you should be discouraged from replying.

Also, I can log on, but the game kick me off within minutes.

Krakia would be a nice surprise. I haven't heard about that in a while.

LOL @ aslemn

Way to get overly defensive with a lame threat, lmao.

I pineappleing love you.

Oh, and I would like some Masteria love. Krakia, Affluent Tower or Versal would be nice. Didn't we get New Leaf City in August like 3 years ago? Another hint? Rolleyes

That pretty much mirrors what happens every time the community starts imagining what a patch will be like.
As if Nexon is suddenly going to ramp up their game and create content that is completely out of the norm.
Brilliant.

If you consider yourself "(one of) the LOLSP users that quit MapleStory and hang around to peach and complain about everything on a game you don't play", then, yes, I was indirectly referring to you. However, that would require you to admit that you are, in fact, one of those people.

On the other hand, if you don't consider yourself to be one of those people, then my post had nothing to do with you.

Honestly though, I get the feeling that you're just trying to get me to say that you're a whiny peach.
Good thing I'm too smart to fall for that.

As for your disconnection issues, have you tried turning the computer off and on?

Got that. I'm just saying that trying to dissect everything as a clue isn't healthy.

You say "lame threat" now, but wait till he...

...does...
...something or other...

Yeah! You'll be scared!

Also Crimsonheart's tomb and Meso Gears.

Masteria has too much potential, they probably couldn't control it and left it. I hope it gets picked up and expanded upon.

Then I'm afraid I'm going to have to escalate your issue.

I just want them to find a better way to tell stories than shoving it into massive text blocks.

Actually, the first thing they need to do is make it so NPC text no longer 'scrolls'.
Just make it appear all at once without making me click every time.

Hopefully they make a new part of Masteria its pretty much the best area and everyone enjoys it from what I've seen. There's a tiny bit of hope for it at least, but it will probably be something stupid or lame like three new recipes or more low leveled crap that's not worth the effort for. I will probably just see what happens after all logic is so flawed now..expect the unexpected or something like that.

Seeing the game's state right now, and how they started not putting any effort to make it a better place, I don't know what to expect from them anymore.

Sure, this is content we're talking about, but if they can't even manage to make their servers work right, how can we expect them to make quality exclusive content for our version?

Though, if it's still true that they only make concept art and ideas and send them to Nexon Korea for the making, then it might be another story.

Either way, most of the exclusive content since Prose quitted pretty much sucked, so I'm not really expecting much from this. I don't really think they will ever be able to find a worthy replacement of him, even because I doubt they'd even put effort in trying to do that, seeing how they don't even care of making their game playable.

So yeah. Masteria content? Maybe. Will the quests be as good as before? I don't think so. But I don't want to be too negative so I'll give them a chance on that. Afterall, we don't even know what's been going on about Masteria in the past years (great communication between company and users is great!), so we can't really say anything. They could've worked hard about making quality content just like they could have put really little effort in it and done a rushed thing such as Episode 1 and stuff.

What I'm hoping is, like someone else posted, that Prose left some notes for them to be able to continue the storyline and the whole Masteria in a DECENT way (unless he didn't have a real plan about the whole story, which I doubt is the case).

We'll see what will come out of this. I'm still a great fan of Masteria, and hoping for something good to be released as an expansion, sooner or later.
