Just finished watching Harry Potter Part 2.

Harry Potter Part 2: It was slightly better than part one. McGonagall had some really great lines, Mrs. Weasley was epic, and don't be an idiot and clap at the end. It's not really the end. If you read the book you know what I'm talking about.

Harvard students getting early tickets ftw.

You go to Harvard? Hm.

People in my theater applauded at the Mrs. Weasley line.

Early tickets? It's 2 days since i watched it. Lol.

But i found it to be a very good movie, just a bit disappointed in a few of the things that didnt match the book, but oh well.

Also at the cinema i was at people clapped before it was really over too, sigh.

You go to Harvard? Hm.

Just for the summer school.

If you don't want to hear people applauding don't go to the first possible showing. And better than not clapping prematurely, is not clapping at all. It's a movie. You show your respect by watching the credits, not by clapping.

Screw you all, Winnie the Pooh is a superior movie and I will be seeing that tomorrow instead of Harry Potter 7 Part 2.

I didn't clap at all. Clapping for a movie is stupid. I did however get a nice and shiny plastic broom.

Just got back from watching 7.2.

Everyone clapped at Mrs. Weasley's line, the result of her line, and most of Longbottom's lines. Since it had been almost two years since I read the book everything in the movie felt fresh to me, so it was a good experience. Also, watching it in 3D was fun as well. The 3D effects used were always pertinent and didn't go omfg overboard like Tron did.

Huge props for making the last movie very, very good. Having a bad last movie would make the whole series terrible.

There were a few scenes in the movie that seemed kinda pointless. Like there was one with the Weasley twins:

"Are you okay?"
"Yup."

I chuckled to myself, "Really? That's in the movie? Really?"

It was definitely worth dying at work later today for.

I was disappointed with the ending of the 7th book and so decided not to watch the last movie (both parts).

So I went to the premiere at the local mall which has a very big and popular movie theater (No intention of seeing it)
My friends were very first in line (big fans) and I sat with them. They told me that several people have been going up to them and complimenting them for being such huge fans and waiting so long. So I went and sat with them for a second and decided to mess with people a bit.

Every time someone came up (they were not lying) and said whoa first in line! I told them "Oh, no we're just here to see the new Dark Knight trailer, we're gonna leave afterwards."

God the faces after... So amazing.

Ditto to everything Paul said. Totally thought the same thing about the spoiler part.

Friends bailed on me and I didn't wanna see it alone. I'm a bit depressed that I'm not gonna be able to get a pair of those premiere-only HP 3D glasses, but I guess I can wait until I have people to see it with.

The epilogue's not as bad as the book's was, though to be honest I didn't really mind the book's to begin with.

• Fred's death not being shown was kinda odd, since I know a lot of fans were really looking forward to that.
  
• Neville was awesome. Him being paired with Luna was unexpected, since it was always hinted at but Rowling has specifically denied that they end up together.
  
• Liked the way they changed how Molly kills Bellatrix, as well as how Harry never says "expelliarmus" while fighting Voldemort, which I know some people complained about.
  
• McGonagal telling the Slytherins to go to the dungeon and never mentioning evacuating the younger students was strange.
  
• No Grey Lady and Bloody Baron was expected; kinda wish they actually explained the story about Ariana.
  
• How did Harry learn that Remus and Tonks had a son? She was about to announce it in 7.1, but never actually did, and I don't think they ever said it onscreen? Don't think they said how Harry got the mirror either.
  
• The end of Snape's memories (a sequence I really liked) was kinda narmy. Especially baby Harry's face.
  
• Was it just me or did them flying out of the Room of Requirement look really bad? I mean, obvious green screen bad. Same for Neville waking up, but I think that was almost intentional?
  
• The aging up of the characters for the epilogue was... not so great. Harry and Ginny looked really different while Hermione didn't seem to have much aged at all.
  

Anyway, saw it at midnight (2D), etc. Tons of fangirls who sang AVPM and Potter Puppet Pals and screamed at every freaking little thing. I love the series too, but people really need to be aware that they're not the only ones in the theater.
