I'm a horrible Ashe. Period.

Had a fun troll game with Foopah and his friends, full tank. Alistar, Signed, Galio, Garen and Nunu.
We lost but we would've won eventually when we all had full MR since their team had very little armor. I think we lost cause their team was sort of trolly too, they all had Teleport so the backdoored a lot, teleporting into their teemo's shrooms.

I know this may be late to post, but I think my poorly playing Alistar might have contributed significantly to our loss, but it was a fun game nonetheless! Sometimes it's nice to blow off a non-serious game like that and see if you can win. I think I am about 75~100 games (total of wins/losses) away from being an effective "average" player. I'm thinking of buying Sona next and working on her, since she is a stronger support champion than Taric, and working more on my Ryze and Alistar.

Any great suggestions on how to play Alistar more effectively in lane?

pretty much you have to be aggressive on alistar. I think you might be best served to learn to play him in the jungle. That allows him to get good farm and lots of opportunity to put his insane ganking power to use. Solo lane alistar is also pretty strong, but i dont think doing this is a great idea until you really learn to play him.

as far as duo laning with him, if you are with an ad carry, try to get a philo stone as quickly as you can and then just let the other person farm the lane. If they suck at last hitting, go ahead and farm, but pretty much you just want harass the enemy and prevent them from farming well. I feel like i had more to say, but im drawing blanks now. maybe if you gave so more info about what you are doing currently that would help

Brand is really fun. First game with him was awesome, but I had to 2v1 the other two games both times vs a leona and some other stunner, needless to say I was towerdived multiple times. Only killed one of them in the process like 3 times.

I usually start off with boots/mp pots and then grab a philo stone + HoG for the regen and gold bonus and since I don't really need extra armour or MR for a while thanks to masteries and runes. To get last hits sometimes I'll cast heal and let my trample weaken the minion a bit more for an easy last hit. I also harass quite often with headbutt + pulverize combo which does quite a bit of damage. If the opposing team is careless as well you can easily flash behind them and knock them into your turret for a free kill if you have another lane mate. I normally dont use pulverize for farming/clearing minion waves unless I really need to since it burns mana, and has a pretty high cool down. After the laning phase I'll usually have enough gold to build up some defense items depending on the other team's comp.

Having a multitude of champions doesn't help you when you're only halfway decent with 1 or 2 and just flat out suck with the rest.

I am finally done the internet soft-ban, will be grinding ip all night.

Edit: To whoever asked, the soft ban was because our internet service plan only has a set amount of gigabytes per month (95), and they were used up early. New months start on the 13th for this plan.

But I don't have runes for about 35

another kayle carry . enemy leblanc tried to gank our mumu at blue buff on her own after their team tried and failed to lvl 1 fight. So i was still near by to keep an eye on mumu, so i picked up first blood on her. Mumu later had some nice ganks for us bot(kayle/sona vs leona/vanye) that got me off to a 3/0/3 start and i was able to constantly push vanye or leona out of lane so not much farm for them. Lots of aggressive tower diving by blitz that payed off all but one time, he ended like 10/1. Our annie also played well late game, she had some issues laning and died a few times early.

I had 2 fun games with 3 other Southperryans. We won both of them. The first game I was Leona and I had all of these awesome initiations and then they'd focus me =D. The second game we turtled a lot but we eventually won.

Anyways...I'm still having problems in regards to starting up games. Gahhhhh this is pissing me off. Help please? =(

Been having fun playing Leona and won my first 2 normal games with her. Her early game is pretty good I think, I could burst down about half of a champions HP with my WEQ combo and if I had a lane partner they could usually finish them off afterwards.

(I had a terrible CS that game though with Teemo constantly blinding me and Leona trying to kill me in lane but the gold per 5 items made up for it I guess)

I'm still debating whether I should get Leona or not, I've been reading about her on forums, also checking her abilities. So far she looks like a lame version of Amumu, with borrowed skills from other tanks, that were taken down a little. This is what I see:

Q-on hit stun. A high CD version of Udyr's bear, without speed bonus, although her E fixes that. The stun timer is really short, and with merc threads it becomes less than a second. I honestly think that this is a really weak cc, and I can think of 10 stuns better than her's (Udyr, Sion, Taric, Alistar, Annie, Irelia, Pantheon, Renekton, Veigar...)

W-A pretty lame shield, it has less defense than Galio's and Rammus's shields, and they both have better effects than the little extra damage she gets from it after 3 seconds, she can't even trigger it like Sion, and also her AP ratio is horrible on this skill. (Look at Sion, the AP ratio for the damage is 1.)

E-It's like Bandage toss with shorter range but slightly better utility. I haven't got much to say about this, haven't seen it used well, so I won't talk about it, but I think it's not that great.

R-It's like a weak version of Amumu's ult, the AP ratio is worse, it's not like you're building AP but it is worse, it might be ranged but you're supposed to be in the middle of the fight anyway. Also, the time of the stun is only 1.5 secs while Amumu's has a bigger range, a full stun range and it stuns for 2.5 seconds. The cooldown on Leona's is shorter but it's not like you'll use it twice in a teamfight.

2.) The fact that you're not even getting r3dlogs suggests something. Figure out when these things get written, and why yours apparently don't exist.
3.) Based on the experience of other users, it seems like there might be something in the files that's screwing with your computer. I don't quite know what it might be. But if you try enough times, maybe patterns will emerge.

2) That was what I was thinking too. My Riot Games folder - for some reason - was missing critical files (such as r3dlogs), which is a bit weird, yet very suspicious...

You... don't know where to find video settings? o.O Control Panel would be numero uno. As for game settings, that's more complicated. I don't know where to look for it, but I know for a fact that there's a file you can modify that dictates the settings in-game.

Well.....the r3dlogs should be under C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\0.0.0.63\deploy. For me, I only see the DATA folder in the deploy folder. The Riot guy says that I should have the r3dlogs, along with some DLL and other files in the deploy folder. wtp?! :f6:
