I hate vayne's playstyle. Oh my god.

Just had my first game laning with a Cho just now. OH GOD HE GETS BIG.

You leave him unchecked, and once he has his items, he is very hard to taken down. I've been that situation, and it feels good man.

I can't imagine how many cockblocks and trolling I've done in the game. At the beginning, it wasn't going well for me as I got ganked by a jungle Akali. Later on, though, once I started getting farmed up and getting items, I started becoming extremely bold. During teamfights, I just pop my Insanity Potion and just run in like a crazy mothaf'ucka. And slowing and Flinging carries.

(And I just don't know why they like to chase me so much. I have my poison on, and I can just juke from you guys, then turn it into a situation favorable for me and my team)

We did get Baron, and after a big push, it was over.

Banshee's is awesome on Singed but FoN is even more awesome.

So....Leona will come in a couple of hours. Maybe.

And Singed is too good! With over 100 HP regen/5 seconds with his ultimate on! You can't kill him!

just played a game as amumu, hour long game i had banshees, FoN, frozen heart, sunfire, abyssal, and merc treads. quad potted twice and ended the game with another 2-3k gold. We lost though . We had a pretty feed akali, but in team fights she never went for brand or vanye so we started losing team fights. We had one really bad fight at their base were we got aced and they had 3 people up still and two lanes were pushed in their favor so they caught way back up. We had all melee but cass so pushing into turrets was impossible and ended up being one of our major downfalls. I played a bit too aggressive a few times and also followed akali twice as she faced checked bushes and found 3+ of the other team, died both times trying to save her, since without her we were 100% doomed. We had a dps garen who claimed to be doing a lot of damage, but I never could tell, he wasnt getting insta killed though so he was doing something right. Our Rene and Cass did not prove to be the most useful, but neither did anything that was super dumb/cost us the game.

Guess I need to learn to initiate more. Either that or others should stop initiating before I do.

Hm. Okay, well, I suppose it's been a while since I've given an update so I'll chime in on this a little:

Following up from last time, the general problem(s) with long term stealth was:

1. There was no way for the opponents to get an inkling of how clever the stealth player was being, and thus there was no good way to get a sense of how that player operates.
2. Stealth is claustrophobic in the way that it makes you play.
3. Stealth gives very powerful scouting information while simultaneously hiding that information from your opponent.

We tried some iterations past the first few tests, with Paranoia, alternate resource bars, footprints, phasing and mark systems but in the end, we settled on the current system because it was the simplest solution for long-term stealth. In short: "Everyone has reduced Oracles, but Evelynn and Twitch are perma-stealthed."

Some Partial Stealth Details

Disclaimer: I fully understand this destroys a *lot* of the current stealth gameplay changes. Unfortunately, through lots of iteration, I was unable to capture the feeling of pure invisibility while in stealth while having fun gameplay. In the end, I decided to opt for a very simple system that was highly understandable over some more fiddling mechanics.

1. Evelynn and Twitch are permanently stealthed when they rank their level one stealth abilities. However, Evelynn and Twitch can be seen when they are within X units of an enemy champion (Slightly under vision range), or when they are within a true sight radius.

If they attack, they are revealed briefly for 2 seconds before going back into stealth.

This 'X' is being adjusted for feel between the two champions. 'X' is smaller than champion vision radius, so you can "stalk" an opposing champion, but it will be farther away.

2. Evelynn and Twitch have a "sight gem" above opponent's, telling them when the enemy can see them or not and whether they are "safe" (green sight gem), "warning - you are close to being seen, but still unseen" (yellow sight gem) or "being seen" (red sight gem.)

Results

Long Term Stealth, in this case, has been removed as a primary initiation mechanic but allows Eve and Twitch to cross minion vision and regular sight bubbles with impunity and sneak into brush patches by circle/stalk their opponents. Their opponents can likewise spot-check areas with their own reveal radius and create zones were stealth characters "probably aren't, otherwise they'd be seen."

The sight gem allows the Eve/Twitch player to take much of the guesswork out of figuring out when they were being seen or revealed and allows them to put more of their thoughts on clever positioning and sneaking around their opponents, especially for lane ganks.

This also lets us make them more combat oriented characters that don't immediately blow up on start. In general, this stealth has proven to be very difficult to use but allows characters to have some bluff gameplay and interesting circle/stalk gameplay in testing. Your characters can still scout, but at a highly diminished effectiveness (due to the increased range.)

In team fights, stealth proved to be less effective than before, so the character's combat viabilities are being looked at through reworks/remakes.

What is blocking us on releasing this:

1. There's a pretty big problem with the concept known as Oracle-Sweeping. We'd want to replace Oracle's elixir with someone that doesn't cause such weird gameplay but as to what would be a *good* replacement is a little up in the air.

2. General particle/kit rebalancing work - We need to heavily redo Evelynn and Twitch's kits and that comes different visuals and graphical effects.

What I am testing right now - Additionally

Sight wards as being partial motion sensors - Sight wards signalling when a hostile is moving nearby?
"Robot Chicken" scout drone
"Wriggles" for supports?

I probably shouldn't do this but as compensation, some sneaks..

Evelynn can have her stun back, because now you have advanced warning of her when she steps in. She might need a short-step-stun in order to successfully initiate. Testing required. Twitch has proven to be a slightly harder problem in internal testing.

As an aside: Hate spike is now awesome (for me, at least). Evelynn now has Champion prioritizing Lurker Spines. This makes her lane less bad.

As usual, feel free to ask questions for a little bit as I stick around. I don't know all the details of the full remake (as Live better understands that new environment). Sorry for the delay, but with Orianna/Champion pipeline and such, this has been somewhat of a lower priority for me.

Huh, my K/D ratio is extremely high, compared to my crappy ELO, my W/L and my averageness at the game. I wonder why since I'm usually the tank.

I was Carrying a game, my last Udyr game, was kicking ass and a half, then my internet got hiccups so I dced, when I come back 2 or 3 minutes later, they had taken a tower and killed a couple of team mates, then once I'm back in, I run into them and me and katarina wreck them, so we take 2 mid towers and they only have inhibitor tower there now, then when mates revive we go baron but we notice they're coming cause of wards so we stop and run into them, they focused me hard and their ez attacked from behind a wall doing a lot of damage, specially with his ult, we get like 2 kills but only our kennen survives.

Then I dc hard, my internet goes down and I had to restart my internet thingy by the time I'm back around 6-9 minutes later, they had rampaged through mid and took down all the way to the nexus, when I logged in there were no nexus towers, it was swarmed with 2 or 3 minion waves but without super minions so they had JUST raped the mid, all my team was dead and the 5 of them were alive.... Needless to say that they took the nexus before I could even get one of the low enemies...

ok wtp rumble. i was laning vs him as cho. he was harassing me a lot early and it was doing nothing. my passive and rejuv bead was enough to keep me 90% health or more. I go back to get boots and philo at like lvl 4 or 5 come back and he still just has doran shield. we hit six and end up fighting, i exhausted him and stepped out of his ult rather quickly yet he just completely pomegranate on me. dont even know, minions were not a big factor, and if anything should have been in my advantage.

but on another note, janna just free win character lulz. i can just build whatever i want and just have total command over the game. ward the map like crazy and cc the enemies. Ive got a small handful of champs i seem to have a great win percentage on, mumu/janna/trundle, but i rarely play em. dunno why. Also, never gonna play ashe again. I always get stuck bot lane(which i dont mind and think is best for her) with someone who is either not gonna help me farm/lane at all or just compete with me for farm. gg under farmed ashe is useful

Is it weird for my first game, after a near month break, I end up carrying the team?

Granted it was a 4v5, because enemy Garen ragequit after 2 deaths, but we almost lost, because Lux and Nidalee, and sometimes Rammus, kept dying top and giving Brand + Irelia easy kills.

Right now its Wed morning in the UK (about 7:07 AM) as I'm typing this. Could it be that Leona is inbound in about 4 hours from now?

My god, I just want this stupid Monsoon pomegranate to end already! Colorado's been under a Monsoon effect for a bit now and it's hindering my playtime! It's also why I haven't been on LoL for some time, because I can't risk having a "Forced Leave" during a game due to the storms.

Had a game and I don't know how the hell we won. My stupid team let Cass farm and feed non stop, she had a nearly full stacked mejai's, deathcap, rylai, Archangel staff and more things, the only time I really checked her AP it was over 700, she was dealing insane damage, and my team for some reason was focusing the Ashe with no kills and little farm that MY LANE had been able to deny (bottom, Me as Cass with an Ali against Teemo Ashe, we wrecked them).

Even after I said SEVERAL TIMES "Focus Cass, she's full of AP we need her stacks down" they pineappleing wouldn't, so I had to do it myself she was squishy that once the teamfight started, I flashed into her, ulted, threw all my skills and like 3 or 4 fangs and she died, granted I died right after but my team took the rest down (They almost had ashe and teemo when I got Cass since they loved focusing them -.-), and took the nexus, since we were at mid with only their inhibitor up.
