How Do You Play MapleStory? (Poll!)

I foresee many addicts choosing the semi-addict option.

I would have voted Addicted, but I go afk rather often to go an play TF2, Fallout, and other games. I'm addicted to games and anime in general, but not just Maple Story.

Used to be addicted. When I bought a 30 day 2x coupon back in the day, it was my priority to be able to train for those 4 hours. Luckily I picked a good time, my 2x started after school and ended usually before dinner so after dinner I had time for homework/hangouts etc.

Now I voted casually since I play when I feel like it and don't feel as much of an obligation to the game as I used to.

I hate every minute of it. I got a character to 30 yesterday and although it was "fast" it was still the most dreadful few hours I've spent in a long time.

I used to play semi-addicted, then I shifted to casually, and now I'm just careless. I do want to get back into MapleStory one of these days, but I'm so confused about all of the new features in Chaos.

I voted on casual but it depends on what im doing in my life lol. :f6: Sometimes im on maple like 24/7 (not really but you get the point), other times im on for a little each/most days and then i get distracted by something else for a while and i barely play.

During the first cake/pie event I set alarm clocks for every 40 minutes so I'd wake up for the event even when it's the middle of the night. Does that count as addicted?

definitely on the semi-addicted level right now, I work from 9-5, s after that, if I', not eating, sleeping, or hangin out, im pretty much playing maple. I dont know if I would call it a priority, but when im not doing anything else, I'm definitely playing maple.

[but i have to get all 9 of my chars to 120+, so i kinda have a lot of work to do...]

I chose semi-addicted because I decided to not slack off my senior year and not procrastinate on my 3 summer assignments.
Besides -- I've been in Germany for 2 weeks and have had no urge to play it (besides wanting to reset my MTS items )

A year ago I would have chose addicted, but I sort of have an excuse with terrible health and never being able to function properly in a social environment. After using maple to escape from my actual problems for 3 years, I actually gained self-confidence and can function in public.

Sorry for the sort of QQ story, I just don't like it when people immediately think negatively of an "addicted" gamer when they don't know the full story (e.g. health/family/social/etc problems)

I was never "addicted" nor "semi-addicted" I only enjoyed playing the game. But now I play less and less.

Semi-Addicted; It is in one of my priorities; but I just procrastinate. Like updating my blog and making videos for my YouTube.

Casual. It's not a high priority to get on anymore, but when I do I normally have an idea of /something/ I want to do so I don't just sit in a town for hours. When I do get drug to stuff [LHC, bossing] it gets kicked up the priority list a bit so that I can actually be useful to the people I'm with.

Somewhere between semi-addicted and casual. I would have picked the casually option but the profession update pulled me back into the game.

Whoops never answered. I'm casual but i play with purpose so i still make a lot of progress. Used to be semi addicted back when i was merching. Planning on not ever merching again, however.

Well, according to the poll choice, I chose Casually. I didn't choose semi-addicted because it is not one of my priorities. And I sorta do play it when I feel like it.

I guess I have the balls to say I'm an addict? At least until school/real life comes around, then it'll be casual.
