Video Converter Program

Hey guys:

Does anyone know any good free video converter programs? At this moment, I'm in dire need to convert a video so I can have the ability to edit it in Windows Movie Maker (its for a real life thing I'm doing, and its very urgent I get this done ASAP). Right now, the video format my video is in is .MOD, and I'm trying to convert it to .wmv (or any other compatible format for WMM editing).

These programs usually have a hidden length/size limit so it'd be better to just google it yourself instead of us throwing programs at you.

I'm using this atm to edit/convert videos. Works really well, but the conversion times are a bit slow. Free 14 day trial with no watermarks or limits.

I downloaded from the link you put up and I gave that program a spin. Excellent program, I must add. Helped me do all of everything I needed to do. I'm now on my way. Thank you very much for the recommendation!

When I still used Sony Vegas to edit up a video, that was a really nice converter as well as a video editor. DL the free trial version, and you can select from many different types of videos to convert to.
