Late night inspiration portrait
#1
Tried using more black and more gray for a realistic effect, guess it worked pretty much. :O
Took me like 2 days and a total of 6 hours, it's just fresh as i finished it right now. :>

At least this time i think i managed to get her nose done correctly. Because heavens, i've almost destroyed two sketches of this because of that. @___@

If this is Gaga, maybe try making her nose a little bigger, specifically the bridge of it. I do love this, and recognized her right away. Great work Leo!

Huh, i first drew the sketches using pencils, then i used a black ballpoint pen to make very thin lines, then drew it once again with the same pen but with much stronger traces in the shading, then used some yellowish coloured pencils over black lines, and then added a touch of salmon, pink, and some bright red colour that looks more like a stronger salmon colour. Then, got the pure red pencil and used it over the picture, specially over the shading areas, and to finish it, got the same pencil i used in the beginning to kill some of the colours that looked a little unreal, and to make the shading more clear. :O

Wow! This is absolutely fantastic! Are you going to pursue Art as your education or is it currently just a hobby that you're VERY talented at?

Thanks Miek! :>

No idea, though i'm more likely attempting Architecture in the University of my state once i get off high school, which is in like 3 months. Since it has some branches that focus on landscapes, painting, portraits, and even digital and gaming art. It's more likely a mix of all the art courses available in here, since there isn't an specific one for traditional and digital arts that doesn't involve architecture in here. If there isn't something in there that i wanna know, i'll just do what i've done for all the past years, google it. Lol.

It seemed to be the best option since there's only one thing that i don't like, that are blueprints. That's why once i get off it, i'm attempting on specializing myself in the traditional concept of art, since i don't really feel like working with buildings and those things, more likely fantasy rather than reality.

I'd actually love to, since art is the only thing i can imagine myself doing for hours, like i can't really think about working for 10 hours, but i'd have no problem on drawing for 13 consecutive hours. It's something i've really always been in love with. :o
