With Fnatic bringing home the gold in our Season One Championship at DreamHack, the Season One Circuit has officially come to a close. Following this historic occasion, we will no longer issuing Season One Circuit points for sanctioned tournaments. If you would like to have a look at the final standings, you may do so by visiting our Season One Circuit forums .
If you’re still interested in capturing a little bit of glory from our first competitive season, however, the ladder season is being extended. We will announce the completion date for ladder competition in the coming weeks, along with the details on rewards on the ranked ladders for our platinum, gold, silver, and bronze placement winners. Once ladder competition has been resolved, we will officially end Season One.
In addition to these great rewards for our competitive ladder champions, upon the completion of the season we will be giving everyone who participated something special. So we have decided to issue each and every summoner that played at least 10 games over the course of Season One in any game mode a special, commemorative skin for Kayle, the Judicator, to thank for helping to make the our first competitive season such a smashing success.
Also stay tuned for further information on the competitive ladder as Season Two draws closer! We will be performing a partial ladder reset to mark the beginning of Season Two. Rather than a full reset, players will have their Elo rating reset to certain milestone values based upon their finish at the closing of Season One. More details will be coming as we draw closer to the event.
We hope that you enjoyed participating in League of Legends Season One as much as we did, and we look forward to seeing everyone make one final push for a strong finish in the ladder standings.

And the competition for #1 Solo Que continues onward!

Yorick is boss now. My friend laned against him and Soraka two games in row and he was slowly and annoyingly destroyed. I just laned with one as Gragas against GP and Lee Sin (lane Lee Sin, har) and we wrecked their pomegranate. Two characters with amazing harass and amazing sustain. OhhhPeeee

and one last thing, no one on SP has talked about yorick that ive seen, HOLY pineappleING MOTHER OF GOD he is good after the buff. So strong in lane, real hard to kill and makes team fights a huge mess for the other team with so many ghouls running around hard to see what you are attacking. His Ult is really strong in team fights, throw it on the AD carry and get a nice 50% damage boost lulz.

Oh and Yorick is too OP if he is not kept in check. Played against one today who zoned out top lane, farmed like nuts, and snowballed out of control. He was tanky as pineapple (150+ armor, 200 MR), had 300+ AD, and healed like crazy. Lesson? Gank him early on.

Though I wont be surprised if Riot tweaks Yorick a bit in the future. For now though, he is much better than the old Yorick.

Oh and Birdie, I simply like Thornmail simply because its cheaper and offers a lot of armor. But I do use Frozen Heart when the situation requires it (used it a few times).

Hmm, I bet I could hit silver before the season is over... but then I'd have to work to maintain it, since elo degradation happens at 1400+ elo D=

Like the Kayle skin, don't like how ELO isn't being completely reset for Season 2. I've had such bad luck with teams in ranked so far my ELO is already below 1000.

super excited for kayle skin, I have one of her skins already, but not gonna complain about getting a second for one of my favorite champs. I guess the picture at the top of the page is her, thought it was ashe until i saw pendragon's(i think it was him) tweet.

and with my new ap runes, ive been trying out a lot more ap champs, excited to try out cass tomorrow as well.

I actually want to try Cassiopeia as well :o

Problem being, if you're smart and have certain champs, pre-level 6 you'll just go nuts on her and you can shut her down.

Also, I heard that silver ranking is 1550 elo.
