We wanted to let everyone know that we’re working to address the miscommunication that occurred regarding the introduction of new item level 371 PvP gear, and share our current plans.

For background, many players spent their Honor Points on item level 365 gear once Season 9 ended only to find that more powerful item level 371 gear was available when season 10 started. We should have communicated ahead of time that this was going to be the case, and we apologize for the mistake.

We’ve been working over the past few days to evaluate and determine the best course of action to offer players some kind of compensation for those who were caught off guard by the new gear. The plan we’ve found to be achievable within an acceptable amount of time is to provide players who were affected with 4000 Honor Points. This extra Honor would function similarly to the currency down-conversion in that it would stack over the cap, but you would not be able to earn more until you spent under the 4000 cap.

The process of determining who was affected is certainly the most difficult task of this issue, and the entire process of figuring out who should receive the Honor or not and then delivering it isn’t anything less than a giant undertaking. We’re still evaluating many of the processes that will be required to make this happen. Although we’re fairly confident we can pull it off, there is still a chance it may not be possible. Due to other service related work the soonest we would be able to distribute this Honor is the 7/19 Tuesday maintenance. More complicated solutions we discussed could take months to implement, but we felt getting something to those affected as quickly as possible was more important.

Although some of this is still uncertain we felt it best to let people know as far in advance as possible to allow for adequate planning. We’ll be able to provide more information and specifics on how this process will be carried out, and the requirements to receive the 4000 Honor, next week.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by our miscommunication. We greatly appreciate those who took the time to give us constructive feedback on the matter.

Dude everywhere I see Druids are worst healers ATM. I can't have rogue Druid Mage comp anymore. Gonna have to be me Druid lock and or me rogue priest.

are you kidding me? Druid are the best healers out of there, they can get out of cc using cat form, and when they are on tree form, its unstoppable healing, maybe holy paladin is a bit betterwhen talking about survivability, since they are plate user + divine shield, but again, you wont see a holy paladin healing at all because it will be cced all the time lol.

The only time ret pulls similar dmg in pvp is when all cooldowns are up. Outside of that, ret's pressure is awful unless you get a string of divine purpose procs.

The big crit heals is a gimmick. They'll probably nerf it for the same reason they gave wog a cd in the first place.

Anytime you play above 2700 ret pressure is next to 0 as wings will not last more than a single hammer anytime even with salvation covering.

Our damage output outside of cooldowns is pathetic compared to the on demand damage of every single class. I'll be content when recklessness, berserk, shadowdance, shamanistic rage are spellstealable / dispelable.

The lack of a snare means anytime your partner (hopefully one with a snare) is CC'd you yourself are experiencing 0 uptime. This is a pretty fatal flaw.

I also play a DK above 2700 and the difference between the two in terms of survivability, uptime, offensive control, and damage is clear as day with the DK being superior in every category. In any composition you can name where a ret is viable, he can be replaced with either a DK/warrior/rogue and the comp is unquestionably better. Therein lies the problem.

So please. Stop pretending.

Gyro of here in high end arena people are gonna be cling Druids like their peach, and then I have no healer. Biggest thing about Druid is if they don't throw out their cc we wont win.

Tbh this Druid was healing me in 2s and we face rolled it and kicked ass. We went like 6-0 undefeated.

I don't know why they didnt mention disc priest, they have so many absorb shields.

Anyone know anything about PVE feral cats? I'm not sure where to put my last 4 talent points http://www.wowhead.com/talent#0Zf0GfkzrzbfzMcz. The only talents that make sense to get are Predatory Strikes, Infected Wounds, +1 Stampede, Thick Hide, Natural Reaction, and Perseverance. Predatory Strikes and the second point in Stampede seem to be only useful for adds. Thick Hide and Natural Reaction are only useful in Bear Form, and I don't really know how well I could function as an backup tank with cat gems/enchants.

Right now I'm leaning toward +3 Perseverance just to get some passive survivability and I dunno where the last point would go.

P.S. Drood healers are bawls mostly. Good HoTs over others, that's about it. The same with tanks. Droods shine in DPS but fall short in the others. It's what happens when you have such a versatile class I guess.

Druid healers are totally dominating at the moment. There's a reason why Paragon is stacking druids again for Heroic Rag lol

for arena, druids are the weakest. Their HoTs aren't able to keep up with damage. Shaman and h pallys are the 2 strongest after the 200% crit heals.

I'm surprised you haven't ditched him yet, Sub is THE PvP spec bar none, Assassination is dead in serious competition. Also Spellcleave comp, son.

Dude, I was practicing 2s with this 2200 DK who went on his boom kin with 1590 resilience.

He said I sucked at PVP and to aim for challenger and I suck at ccing so I would have to do spell cleave comp since it's the easiest most face roll one.

I did four arenas with that Resto Druid of mine to help him hit cap. 4-0 wins. The rogue last night went to help him hit cap. 4-6 wins. And they want to start practicing 3s and I don't want to waste it.

Frost Mage + Resto Druid + Aff / Destro Lock. Can't remember which lock spec is superior right now, but both are interchangeable.
