They're priced to be 3x the original price. Therefore it's like making a 270 day commitment, thus needing 271 days of pet use for it to be "worth it". My question is if it even is worth it and if so which items should I get? The only permanent pet equip I have is a Meso Magnet because I got it from Cash Shop Surprise.
Currently I have my eyes set on:
7,200 NX Item Pouch
5,400 NX AutoHP
3,600 NX Binocular
5,400 NX Wing Boots
I'm not sure which ones are a "necessity" other than AutoHP. Any input would help

Well, Item Pouch, Wing Boots, and Binoculars have to come in that order. (Binoculars do nothing if you don't have Wing Boots, and neither is very useful if you don't have Item Pouch... not worth it just for looting meso).
Personally I find Binoculars to be useless. Wing Boots are quite good enough. Skipping the Wing Boots does get annoying, though, because the pet won't even go to ends of platforms (even if you're standing there) and will in general be very lazy.
All a matter of how much NX you can spare.

After buying pet loots for 4 years I think they are worth it.
But if you plan to move on in a year and quit then don't bother.
I would say make your first priority either the auto hp or the item pouch (the remaining can be 2nd priority).
Don't bother with the wing boots unless you have both the item pouch and the meso magnet because your pet will still run to the item it can't pick up and waste time running around for no purpose.
Get the binoculars if you are a range class and you get the item pouch and wing boots. If you are a warrior or something that only kills stuff you are standing next to then the binoculars are a waste. If you are an archer your pet will never reach the loot dropped from the monsters you kill without binoculars.
Personally I like auto mp a lot and would rank it before the wing boots. It's nice not to have to push the button all the time.

I had the wing boots & binoculars due to some pet package for a while and I found them completely useless. You have to stand still for a second before the pet will even move towards the drops, and if you move a single pixel, the pet has to run back to you, then it runs away again if you're stationary long enough.

I can say that wing boots are totally not worth it. Get meso magnet, even if you don't merch you still can get some money for Pots.

The only necessities I think are Item Pouch and Meso Magnet.
I got permanent Baby Tiger Wings for my pet back during the first permanent pet equip event because I wanted an extra speed boost.

Auto HP, Item Pouch and Meso Magnet. in that order. The rest of the stuff is useless.

Meso Magnet
Item Pouch
Winged Boots
Auto-whatever you burn up easily.
In that order. Personally, I don't trust auto-pot so I rather go without it. I'd recommend that equip that filters drops instead, but it's not going on the perma event sadly.

Only really need meso magnet and item pouch. every thing else is just a gimmick for "extra use" from your pet. I use auto hp/mp on my bishop cause i hate 1/1s and can't pot fast enough to recover that.

I must be the only one who found wing boots & binoculars invaluable. I loved having them.

It depends. Wing boots & binoculars are pretty usless especially if you move around a lot (e.g. NL, DB or warrior).
With so many crap drops in MS these days, think twice before getting Item Pouch.
The only one I would buy is meso magnet. Get Auto HP/MP if you are lazy.

I love Wing Boots, I find it very irritating to be without.
Binoculars, though - tried them once, didn't see any significant difference from Wing Boots alone, never bought them again.

Everyone here seems enamored with the Meso Magnet, although I will accept the contention that more mesos are good, hardly enough is dropped that would warrant myself putting it above the Item Pouch and its two extending accessories. If I'm looting for mesos, I want the item that gets lost in the pile that will get me the mesos rather than a bag of around 5K.

I agree, although raw meso are nice and they do add up.
However, the OP said he already has a perma Meso Magnet from some event or other, so that question is moot anyway.

My TB gained about 100m just in meso looting on its way to lv 120, I cant abide seeing people not picking up their drops.

Another option is to get 2 permanent pets and buy item pouches for both of them. With Multipet active, instead of following you, one goes on each side - so you can loot right to the edges of platforms easily.
Course, it costs a fair bit. But lots of people are buying spare cats anyway for the scrolls >_>

As I said last time perma pet equips were around, while you ARE paying 3x the normal, 90 day price, I see it as worth it, even if you quit after 150 days, or even 50. My rationale in getting perma item pouch, meso magnet, auto hp and mp was I liked having the peace of mind knowing I will NEVER have to buy them again, especially being a person who's had one primary character the whole time I've played maple (I've been an archer in beta, a ranger for the first 2 years of GMS, then another ranger, which became a bowmaster, which is STILL a bowmaster...I've never leveled anything else other than my KoC up to 100, even WITH the easy leveling that came with big bang).
Like many people, I've taken hiatuses from the game, stopping for no reason at all for months, sometimes even years before coming back. And with this unpredictability (and to be honest, life DOES come up...you never know when you'll lose your motivation to play), and it's happened before, I've bought pet equips that I used for a week, just to quit for a few months and come back to see them expire on me with no use at all. With these permanent ones, I know that they will always be around, whenever I decide to come back, and that when I come back and have no idea how long I'll be staying, I don't need to worry or debate whether to spend the money rebuying these things (well, I didnt get a perma pet, cause they didnt have a perma panda, but 2.4k is something I can spare for 3 months even if I don't use it) with the potential prospect of not using them at all. The first time the perma pet equips came, I logged on JUST to get them, and have always logged on (even if I wasnt playing at the time) to get permanent stuff so I wouldn't have to worry about it. My nx set is permanent. My pet equips are permanent. I never have to worry about them again.
However, one thing I HAVE noticed that has been an annoyance is when I need to level other characters (KoC for blessing, and now DB for the mask), it gets awfully annoying that my pets cant transfer over. I'd pay a handsome amount to have my permanent cs items transferable throughout cs (Heck, I'd pay 50k for it if they offered it, much like I'd pay 50k for a permanent hyper tele rock if they ever offered that too) to whichever character I want.
I thought about whether I'd be playing 270 days from when the first time the permanent pet equips came around, and my answer was "probably not", but I know I'll play here and there, and that was enough to get me to buy them. I can now play the game without feeling it's a chore because I have to make my money worthwhile or it'll expire, and that is totally worth the 30 bucks I spent on these equips. No regrets whatsoever here.
