Quick PvP Questions

First, I tried searching for some of this information but I couldn't exactly find what I was looking for:

1. Are players set to a certain "level' in the arena? Are equips equalized so that a certain class has the same range, as was the case with Balrog PQ?
2. Does the "Battle Mode" attack increase from ambition takes place in PvP?
3. I heard something about a ranking system, does anyone have more specific details on this?

(A link to a more relevant thread, if one exists, would be greatly appreciated, or for any question I have asked)

I'd like to know about this "ranking system" as well.

My BM is ranked at 10 (from clicking myself), and I'd like to know what it means.

Atm everyone is rank 10. I'm guessing it has something to do w/ Battle Experience (open stat window) but I have no idea how much exp is a level and what the curve is and what difference leveling up makes.

Ugh. 30-69 level range? Why do games do this? It should be in instances of 10 levels. A level 30 vs a 69 is stupid.

Battle Experience is basically all the Battle Points you've accumulated. Right now in kMS, I have 1530 Battle EXP and it says it's 51%

So is a 70 vs 119, or a 120 vs 179....
On the other hand, if the rooms were only 10 levels apart, some of the smaller servers would never be able to get a battle going.

It's not as bad as it seems though, before I left, the 169 BM was only in second place.

It's more like a minimum level range than anything. You need to be level 30 before you can fight in that group. You need to be level 70 before you can fight in the next, etc.
