Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

I find it funny that they're real quick to acknowledge Annie being too good, yet it took them FOREVER to do the same for Vayne.

Well, I did a ton of losing this weekend, as I often do. But there was this one beautiful 19-2 Corki game. So good.

Not sure who to buy next. Brand and swain are looking good, but I could also use nocturne since I'm getting tired of using the same handful of junglers.

Hu, I think Ressic and I played with ShaChu. Dunno how he managed to play with you since both Ressic and I have terrible ELOs =P.

I'm in the 1140s right now. Consider that horrible.

I've been meaning to try out Koggles since his Bio-Arcane Barrage got buffed from 6 second duration to 10 seconds.

So far, I've only gotten in one real game with Duel, Manu, and Bob. I was up against AP TF in mid, and he kept on pushing with blue cards and Wild Cards, but otherwise does most other things like a good player should. Got an FB off of him, which was a good start.

Then evidently TF really hated me or something, and a lot of people kept on showing up mid. There was one time GP was alone in middle lane. I read his patterns, let him Parrrley me, then I unleashed my combo, "pinning" him against a wall with my Void Ooze (sorry GP, eating oranges and be k don't work here) and destroyed him with BAB, finishing him off with Live Artillery.

Ultimately, Koggles can contribute much more to drawn out team fights, and the increased BAB duration allows him to take advantage of openings more often. Though he can't zone effectively by himself for the most part, the BAB buff is wicked sick!

Anyone else have input on Kog'Maw's viability compared to his old self? I'm still having a hard time justifying Koggles for a choice DPS carry, other than for mad deeps range and really fast Dragons and Barons. (downed Baron in 10 seconds flat in that game)

As for Koggy's comparison from now and before, yeah the BAB Duration buff was definitely noticeable. Only one that stuck out to me though.

The problem with Kog'Maw is that he has a bad early game + completely relies on tank/team to protect him. Basically, he's a bad champ for solo queue.

He becomes a monster late game though. When you have Madreds + AS + Frozen Mallet. Gee gee (if your team protects you). He melts everyone including tanks and keeps them perma slowed with his frozen mallet

Had a fun troll game with Foopah and his friends, full tank. Alistar, Signed, Galio, Garen and Nunu.
We lost but we would've won eventually when we all had full MR since their team had very little armor. I think we lost cause their team was sort of trolly too, they all had Teleport so the backdoored a lot, teleporting into their teemo's shrooms.

I've been thinking about building kog as a normal ad carry (ie/bt, pd, cleaver, etc).

He'd pretty much be a way longer ranged version of normal ad carries without an escape, but his ultimate would do really good damage and be amazing for poking before teamfights start.

Played another ranked....ugh we eventually lost because we had an Olaf who thinks he's the sh'it and can do anything.

I currently have tons of IP that I want to spend on something useful. I'm currently looking at two options:

1) Full crit chance runepage for Tryndamere (costs ~12K IP). I can buy the entire set on the spot.

2) Full AP runepage

3) New champions (though atm, I'm not eyeing any existing champs; though I'm waiting for Leona, and have something set aside for her already)

What to do?

Eww at crit chance runes. Way overpriced for such an easy to come by stat on items will.

If you are going to buy crit anything runes it should be crit damage seeing as there is only 1 item with it as a stat in the game.

 Oh and...

If you have gangplank, you might as well buy the full rune page. And when you say full AP runepage, do you literally mean...literally full flat ap? That's terrible.

Oh, and don't buy Leona, I know like 3 Southperryans buying her already and I want to get the chance to instalock her before you guys do .
