Retalion Wrote:So with the Age of Artisans notice, it says that diligence doubles your profession job mastery chance. Guess it has nothing to do with mastery books then ): *goes off to use that MW 30 book I have finally*

Yeah I asked in some other thread and it has to do with the exp you get from making stuff... I was very disappointed too. Guess I'm gonna keep failing MW30s Big Grin Good luck on yours Jack Big Grin

@ White. I thought the same, if one of those improved your chances on scrolls, it isn't too far fetched to think the other one referred to mastery books. Nexon is known for not wording things in the best of ways most of the times, leading to confusion.

lol double mastery is 2x exp for professions.

Where did you think it'd help with mastery books? *unsure*

You said it yourself. They're MASTERY books, so it was a reasonable assumption.

Glad to get that sorted out. It'd suck if I spent weeks leveling my diligence so that I'd have a higher chance of passing MW 30, just to have it fail and found out it was at the same percentage as before.

And good luck to you too, Joe! I've had one sitting around all this time, but since there's nothing to look at here, I guess I'll just use it tonight.

It'd make sense, though... But since random is random, there's no way to actually test it with enough people.

Here's the dialogue for the level 30 charm quest if anyone's interested.

So people with mining are screwed?
Good to know.

Nah, herbalism mule or buy one in the fm. EVERYONE will need one, so there'll be someone that has a mule and tosses some rose clippings in their shop in ch2 just like the people that sell rocks and cures.

I think it'd be a pretty bad idea to make only one profession path able to do the charm quest. This wasn't designed and coded by NexonAM after all.

PVP gives ambition, I can only speak for kMS right now, but I've heard it was giving ambition in gMST too. Again, not sure for gMS, but right now in kMS, the ambition rewarded is equal to your battle score divided by 100, rounded up.

PyroKing Wrote:Yeah I was aware of the fame part spadow explained, however the quest part is still a mystery. I don't really have the option not to do quests...all my quests are done.

it's 3AM, did I miss the answer to this question or is the answer "no" because if so, obtaining a quest specialist medal prematurely is going to piss a ton of people off.

Not sure whether this has been mentioned, but you can do work as long as you're not exhausted, regardless of how much fatigue the work requires. I've regularly been doing tasks that take 3 fatigue when I'm already at 99.

This is a decent way to level up Jewelry and Mining at the same time - after every hour's reset 5, mine 4 times, then craft a ring, and you effectively get 9 fatigue per hour instead of 5. Course, you need to be on once an hour to do it. Similar for the other professions, though I don't know if they all have 5 fatigue recipes.

Noticed this first day. Good stuff. Got my Mining/Accessories to level 4 so far.

Apologies if I missed it, but why does this statistic fall as you increase ambition? I've also been hunting Security Cameras, like a person above mentioned.
