Totally worth watching, we were getting RAPED, count was 10-34 with us loosing, we had taken one turret and they had taken all front towers plus one more in bottom lane, don't know what the pineapple happened but we turned it around and won. Maybe it's how their comp wasnt too good and their tank wasn't too smart. They were almost full AD so I built a LOT of defense, and we were mostly AP but their tank built a Thornmail and Sunfire Cape....

Also, if you watch it you may see my map awareness fail where I walk into the 5 of them hiding behind a baron wall, or even better, you get to watch 2 other team mates follow me after they see them jump on me, and die. Reminded me of that Janna pic from the Season one championship "All mia, I'll face check this bush".

Edit: Ah also I'd actually like people to watch it to help me correct simple mistakes I make... I'm more interested in laning mistakes so I should upload one of a game I lane...

Derosis, you are in no position to tell people what to play. Foopah's best with Taric, let him play that. You can play other characters. "foopah play something else i wanna play sona" is not the right thing to do. It's never what you want. It's what your team needs. Do you think I want to play Shen every game? No, but I do it anyway because it's what my team needs.

Hey, no criticism for me? =D

You didn't exactly have to tell this out on the forums, but okay Oo. I thought Foopah could play someone else other than Taric, was wrong. Paid for it. Oops? Instead he only has runes for Taric and a Masteries page just for Taric. Did not know. Won't question your authority ever again master. I haven't practiced in days and I thought it was okay. It appears I'm not in a position to practice someone in queue with friends.

But in all honesty, Foopah. Pick someone new up and try to learn them. Either Via free week or by videos you see. Just knowing Taric won't get you anywhere fast.
This reminds me of when Kaji questioned me about only playing Xin lol
Although, unlike Rick, I DO have Runes / Masteries for Singed / Annie / Soon-to-be Jarvman (He more or less uses the same runes as Xin), but not full on T3 runes.

At least he can't jungle anymore. Even though I enjoyed that so mucCAWCAWCAW

I'm telling you how to work with the shortcomings of individuals on a team. You're welcome to practice, just do it in situations where it isn't crippling.

He can't jungle anymore? Something happen to Junglesticks?
Dark Link Wrote:He can't jungle anymore? Something happen to Junglesticks?

Smite used to be magic damage, Terrify reduced MR increasing the damage it does, and I think jungle monsters used to start with 0 MR.

Mostly drain nerf, and smite "nerf"

I would agree that Derosis' attitude needs work (he complained when I ninja'd his Sona, rofl), but you just sound plain angry o.O

Also, why do you play Shen only? Why not Cho'Gath, Rammus, Amumu, Nasus (uhhh), Alistar, ... ?

I only asked if you had any plans on playing other champs. I know I did Veigar up until level 14, then bought Anivia and played her up to lvl 30 and beyond. LoL has an extreme learning curve, and if you learn better while only playing one champion, so be it.

What is true is that you won't get very far in LoL if you don't play other champs. You'll get special insight in how champions function if you play them, which might not otherwise be obvious if you're on the receiving end. Though not a conclusive example, look up the user "tictacs", who played Ashe almost exclusively before ranked games, and used to be one of the highly rated players.

Ancient Golem and Elder Lizard (blue and red) used to have -30 MR. Dragon used to have less MR (30?).
The only other tank that really interested me was Singed, I still don't think of Cho as a tank, I really don't trust myself with Bandage Toss, I'm not entirely sure what you're supposed to be doing with Alistar (?_?), Powerball looks like something I would screw up more often than not (and the whole wards issue), but Leona looks kind of interesting.
Alistar: Ult, charge in, knock everyone up, headbutt the enemy carry back to your allies, heal, rinse and repeat.

Ult when you're halfway or low. No one's going to focus you when you pop ult.
Played the longest game I've played so far, with Bob and Duel. It was insanely even, were at our base for QUITE a long time defending, then trying to push and defending again. Yorick took some insane build routes, at some point he had 5 Blood thirsters and 1 IE, then he sold and got different things, he soloed baron like that!

I have the replay file if anyone's interested! Though I made lots of mistakes XD

I think I'd prefer that over getting silenced over and over and him healing off all the harCAWCAWCAWCAW

About Gragas: I've never liked laning against him since I'm not very intuitive in regards to his casks, so, yeah, I need to work on that, this I already know (even on Taric, I still have issues dodging those stupid things). As for being told to play someone else, I did warn the team that I could but it might not be a very effective way to go.... at least I only died once as Ryze and that was just because I was stupid and got out of position. So, I didn't end up being a feeder as I feared I would.

I do have a Rune/Mastery page for Ryze, but due to my lack of knowledge on how to play him (and yes, I have been watching videos, they only help to a degree) only more real-time experience on him will make me better at that champion. So that means I have 2 full rune pages built up. I do have a mastery page setup for Tristana and would like to work with her more as well. I'm building a jungle Rune page (generic - mastery page already completed) so I can try and jungle with a jungle champion like Amumu or Warwick (saving up IP to buy them after I get my Rune page completed).

Right now, I just want to have fun playing this game with Taric and get UP to a true level "30" ability in playing before I really start to play other champions. I know that may not be the way anyone else would do it, it's just the way I want to do it. I've already stated that I will not be entering in ANY ranked game, regardless of invitation, because I know I am not skilled or strong enough of a player to be of any help to the team. So, if people don't want Taric, I'm fine with that, it's no big deal.

I know that Sona is a better support champion than Taric is, I get that, just be patient with me and let me play at my pace so I'm not getting frustrated in-game and start making stupid mistakes that end up causing a loss. I've never played a strategy PVP game like this before, so, it's ALL new to me still. I know that i need to become stronger with the basic mechanics of this game, which many of you have had way more experience with than I have. I'm not asking for a miracle (because that won't happen) just to play, have fun, and enjoy the game.

This IS just a game after all, isn't it?

I'm glad you did atleast accept it. Taric is a fine support champ. Not my cup-o-tea. But non-theless a great champ. And everyone loves a good killblocking Taric.
The secrets to laning against Gragas:
Don't walk backwards, walk sideways. Gragas players always hear "Throw the barrel behind them, they'll get scared and walk right back into it" so move unpredictably and maybe get boots very early.
Gragas is also similar to Mord in that you want to stay away from minions so he has to choose between you and them.
Foopah Wrote:This IS just a game after all, isn't it?

Then why do you Queue dodge, because you only want to "Tryhard" win? Tongue

Sorry Rick, I just couldn't resist Frown
I've realized that I really really hate Poppy, therefor, whenever she's free I MUST play her, and if I like her, master her!
