The worst part is, the quests to get to level 4 and level 10 are all translated. But, the end date on the quest is still January 2nd, 2011, though, unlike the snowdrop recipe quests, which end on August 10th, 2011 (Midnight, I assume, so you have all day on the 9th), so unless they patch instead of it just being a maintenance, it's not happening.

No CWK fix?

I hope it's fixed and they just forgot to mention it, or something. I really wanna CWKPQ =/

Call me crazy, but even knowing that, I'm still hoping they'll add it.

It really sucks if you want an android though, you have to hunt for both the android recipe and the heart recipe, instead of getting both from the event.

Atm i'm writing all my ores off as a complete and total waste. Excluding getting to level 10 in a couple days. I have enough gold/topaz to get to level 10 three times. So 2/3 of it is basically just going to sit on a mule...forever and ever. SO! I'm also hopefully that Nexon adds the event somewhere, just ninja's it in, like the did to cwk.

I dont' know how they changed cwk from crashing the ch to suddenly sending you to henny without even a maintence, I really don't, but i'm hoping they can do the same ninja tactics to fix up the event.

I too miss cwk though, and wish for them to fix it. I was going on once every two days a double cwk 5 man, really really good stuff.

You use the recipe, make it once, then you need another recipe to make it again.

Yep, you can only make, or I should say, attempt, the recipe once. Regardless of whether you succeed in making it or not, once you try once, you gotta get a new recipe.

I'm gonna go out on the deep end with a buncha sharks jumping up and nipping at my feet when I say this but anway..what if that was part of the plan. What if the 5th part IS redoing Masteria and adding a new area. Think about this. MSEA and EMS got MoNs with slots and MSEA even got the exp. JMS got the Pirate so what if we added all of that? Just a thought >_>

The recipe works 100% if you're at level 10 IIRC.

Nah if you can do it 3 times over, save 1 set to make your own, then profit off the ores as people panic trying to get ores when the quest activates You only really need 1 anyway right?

That's NOT a problem. A rare drop is a sweet prize. Everything -- EVERYTHING in this game is handed to people. And it's handed to people with money the most. This was almost the case with this item too, but Nexon said "nooooooooooooooooooooooope, not today." And that's a damn fine thing. You want a good item? You work for you. You pray for it. If it's not worth that to you then you don't get the item. That's all there should be to it.


It doesn't encourage anything of the sort. Lack of self-control, sense of entitlement and poor rationalizations are what fuel "corner-cutting." If you want something you damn well better work for it if that's what's necessary. There's no excuse for anything less.

I don't understand how people expect to get by in life when they just want everything handed to them. Did you all grow up under mommy and daddy's wallet where they could buy your way through life and looked the other way when you did wrong?

Grinding in one place may be boring as pineapple but when I hunted monster cards that's exactly what I did and when I was finally rewarded with what I was hunting for it was a damn good feeling. Nothing like that exists in MapleStory anymore, and I personally look forward to such a thing returning.

if that's a good idea to you, then please remind me to never play a game you have a part in. nobody has found the ring in kms. nobody. it came out a half a year ago and not a single person has found it. not even people who have been looking for it the entirety of that six month period. the problem IS the fact that NO ONE's work has been rewarded. not a single person's. and it isn't even the top tier angel ring anymore. you now need that ring to make the white angelic bless ring. a problem exists in the fact that, in kms, no one has been able to get the ring outside of this event. so unless the drop rate is tweaked, we're fucked as far as this item goes. which is completely pointless for them to add such a wanted item that rewards those who are able to make, if no one can actually make it.

the really fucked up part is, if gms follows the precedent set by kms, no one will have the dark angelic bless ring by the time the white angelic bless ring is released.
