Chaos arrived with the Age of Heroes, and now it's time to usher in the Age of Artisans! Stay on top of this update by reading about the new and ongoing in-game events here.

Master Professional - 07.11.2011 - 08.09.2011

Requirement: Lv.30 or higher
You will be rewarded with special items for reaching Lv.7 of a harvesting profession or Lv.5 of a crafting profession during the event.
* The Master Herbalist: Gain a special shovel and herb bag.
* The Master Miner: Gain a special pickaxe and mineral bag.
* The Master Alchemist: Gain a reusable drink to lower your Fatigue level, and gain a potion recipe.
* The Master Blacksmith: Gain a reusable drink to lower your Fatigue level, and gain a multiple use glove recipe for your job.
* The Master Jeweler: Gain a reusable drink to lower your Fatigue level, and gain a multiple use face accessory recipe for your job.

Profession Boom Up Event - 07.11.2011 - 08.09.2011

Requirement: Lv.30 or higher
* 2x chance to earn an item of your harvesting profession rank or higher while harvesting.
* 10x chance to earn an item of your crafting profession rank or higher while crafting.

Fatigue Reset Coupon

* Fatigue Reset Coupons are now available in the Cash Shop for NX 2500 each.
* A Fatigue Reset Coupon completely resets your Fatigue Points from the Professions system to 0, allowing you to continue working on your Professions without having to wait for your Fatigue Points to reduce by five each hour or to reset to zero at 12 AM Pacific.
* Fatigue Reset Coupons can currently be found in the Cash Shop by clicking on the Event tab and going to the New subsection.

Jumpstart Character - 06.29.2011 - 07.26.2011

* If you reach at least Lv.70 during the event or already have a Lv.70+ character, you can create a Jumpstart Character.
* Only one Jumpstart Character can be made per account.
* Jumpstart Characters can be either Aran, Evan, or a Dual Blade.
* Jumpstart Characters start at Lv.50, with all of the skills that they would normally have at that level.
* A Jumpstart Dual Blade will start in Kerning City, Aran in Rien, and Evan in Henesys.
* Jumpstart Characters are not eligible for the New Character Gift Sets.
* Jumpstart Characters start with equipment, restorative items, a chair, and 500,000 mesos.


New World Events - 06.29.2011 - 07.28.2011

The Chaos world is now open for brave adventurers and intrepid explorers. Don't worry, Nova fans, your world will be added very soon. New world events for Chaos settlers include:
* Pioneers of Chaos: Accept the quest from Cassandra, reach at least Lv.70, then talk to her again to complete the quest. Reward: Chaos Bandana - Lv.70, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +18, Weapon DEF/Magic DEF +180, ACC/AVOID +25, untradable
* Teo's Nostalgic Reminiscing I: Accept this quest from Teo in Lith Harbor. Complete it and earn 100,000 mesos.
* Teo's Nostalgic Reminiscing II: Accept this quest from Teo in Lith Harbor. Complete it and earn 200,000 mesos.


New Character Gift Sets - 06.29.2011 - 07.26.2011

New characters can receive special Cash Item by completing certain requirements then talking to the Maple Administrator. The quest appears as a gift box above your character's head.
* When you create a new character, you can obtain the Cute Newbie Gift Set (contains a medal, Cash equipment, a Rookie Defense Charm, and Miu Miu the Rookie Traveling Merchant).
* When your new character reaches Lv.30, you can obtain the Grow-Grow Gift Set (contains a medal, a hair style coupon, a face coupon, and a weather effect).
* When your new character reaches Lv.50, you can obtain the Elite Player Gift Set (contains a medal, Cash equipment, a Teleport Rock, and an Owl of Minerva).


Peacekeeper's Aid - 06.29.2011 - 07.19.2011

Newly created Dual Blades can receive free Mastery books from Lady Syl for their 2+ through 3+ skills. These skill books expire in 30 days. The quest can be accepted from a light bulb notification above your characters head or from talking to Lady Syl in The Secret Garden.


2011 Summer Boom Up Event - 06.29.2011 - 07.26.2011

Gain bonus EXP from hunting monsters from 12 PM - 5 PM Pacific (3 PM - 8 PM Eastern), seven days a week.
* Lv.1-29: Hunting EXP +100%
* Lv.30-69: Hunting EXP +50%
* Lv.70-119: Hunting EXP +20%
* Lv.120 and higher: Hunting EXP +10%


Returned Friend Event 06.29.2011 - 08.31.2011

If you haven't logged in to your account since May 29, 2011, you will receive the following gifts by visiting the Cash Shop:
* Hair Style Coupon (VIP)
* Face Coupon (VIP)
* 1.5x EXP Coupon
* Ring Box - Double click it to receive a Returned Friend Ring. After three hours have passed while it is equipped, it will change and gain stats. It will disappear if you log out before it changes.


Chaos Warrior Challenge - 06.29.2011 - 08.14.2011

Requirement: Lv.10 or above
Talk to Gaga to participate. To receive a prize, characters Lv.40 or below must reach Lv.80, and characters Lv.41 or higher must gain 40 levels. The prizes include:
* Explorer: Explorer's Cruelty Ring, Explorer's Critical Ring, or Explorer's Magical Ring
* Resistance: Resistance Lux Ring (cannot be stacked with a Resistance Ring)
* Cygnus Knight: Holy Wing Earrings
* Aran: Lilin's Aura Ring (cannot be stacked with a Lilin's Ring)
* Evan: Onyx Dragon Glasses
* Dual Blade: Blood Mask
Each is a unique item which can move one time within an account. If you have one of the items on a character, that character cannot participate in the quest.

Not really a shot in the dark, but here:

Smith:
Lv. 110 Snowdrop Gloves Recipe
Lv. 110 recipe for gloves that uses the power of snowdrop magic. Usable #c10 times#.

Accessory Crafter:
Lv. 110 [Class] Snowdrop Face Paint Recipe
Lv. 110 recipe for earrings that uses the power of snowdrop magic. Usable #c10 times#.

Alchemist:
Snowdrop Potion I Recipe
Health Boost Potion recipe that uses the power of snowdrop magic. Usable for #c10 days#.

Level 110 gloves for your class (Blue Dragon Gauntlet, Blue Elemental Gloves, Red Hunter Gloves, Black Garina Gloves, Canopus Gloves), level 110 face accessory (I dunno why the description says earrings) that's Main Stat +2, Second Stat +2, ATK or MATK +1, and +2k Max HP potion. It's no different than when you use a regular recipe, for example, using a Blue Dragon Gauntlet recipe, just the duration that you're able to make the item is ten times longer (10 items can be made instead of 1, 10 days of potion crafting instead of 1).

Not really complaining, got over 24hours of those 1.5x exp coupons saved up on my priest on chaos, but still.

Would it have made better sense to completely negate the efforts of whoever made a DB for the mask, by giving out a recipe for a better face accessory in the very next event?

I'm commenting on the terrible event ideas nexon has. If they can port over that kms event, why can't they port over the most anticipated event from kms chaos? To be clear, that doesn't mean everyone was excited about it, merely that it is the event that drew the most excitement out of all the kms events.

Actually I'm glad they don't do this event right away, since it's pure impossible to gain lvl10 jewelcrafring within the event period with normal (non multi-muling or mass FM ore buyout) gaming.

Disgustingly optimistic, let people who want the challenge have it, I'm sure simplicity is not the reason Nexon excluded this event.

The event wasn't completable with normal gaming, thus is there no challenge here.

The only way you could complete the event was with pre-knowledge of the (kMS) extractions and hoarding all ores from the FM for absurd amounts of mesos, or with multi account mine-muling. I don't really think Nexon would like to give those people an advantage over others, especially the data extractors. Afaik, sp.net is still a "rogue" site in the eyes of Nexon America... they don't like us crawling around in their data...

They just keep rubbing it in our face that we're not getting Angelic rings.

It takes about 20 days to get to Level 10 of Accessory Crafting using one character, that's all of it, gathering ores, refining, and crafting, using Locked's way. One or two mining mules will allow you to finish in time. Creating mules for events isn't exactly a new thing, look at all the ring mules and such, hell even now we have legions of DBs and Evans for the Blood Mask and Glasses. Even if you start without prior knowledge and without prepping, you can still finish the event in time and get a Dark Angelic Blessing Ring recipe.

Besides that, we're also missing out on Giant Potion recipes, which are really no big deal to me, I like the monster transform pots more, and android recipes, both regular and premium. The android recipes themselves have a terrible drop rate, but you'd also have to hunt for the heart recipe too. In the future, Android recipes will come from other events, like the Legend Festival, but I'm starting to think that Dark Angelic Blessing Rings don't come from anywhere, besides this particular event. No ss of it dropping anywhere, it's pretty sad.

The kMS only lasted 15 days...

Just don't worry, Nexon will find another way of keep up aimed at getting it somehow, another time, just not the way kMS did it.
