so it's been Hack Shield causing my random crashing? I am just doing something(training, walking, etc.) and I get booted to my desktop with no error windows. This has happened to me on both XP(32bit) and 7(64bit)

This doesn't work.

Just scroll down a bit until you come across the first set of steps 1-3.

After doing so, it states that if the problem does not continue the problem is due to; "interference is occurring because of a background program or service." and if it does continue; "interference is not occurring because of a background program or service."

Hope this helps people.

This might have worked for me. Currently at 15 minutes logged in... Question for those this has worked for: Do you have to do this every single time to start Maple; or at least upon every reset of your system? If so, that sucks.

I fiddled around on my own with that information on the fix. I have a custom laptop, so I didn't disable everything but I disabled stuff that I had no idea what it was and crap that wasn't used and it worked.

edit: Here's what I ended up disabling if it might help anyone.

Confirming that this works. Actually, a slight modification of it works. I forgot exactly which services I turned off though.

Thanks.
I was hoping to narrow down to the Windows services which Hackshield is not happy about. I ended up keeping only Windows services by MS, Intel (excluding Bluetooth services) and my anti virus software. Anyway the problem should be fixed tmr after the patch.

But tomorrow there is a sc and not a patch o.o.

Well I suspect it will be liked last sc which included a mini-patch even though no MS version changed.
