Operation Rainfall
"Monado" #1 pre-order on Amazon

It's a movement to get Nintendo to release Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and Pandoras Tower in the US. They already managed to get Monado (old name of Xenoblade when it was announced in 2009) as #1 pre-order on Amazon. I really hope they succeed (even though I live in Europe where Xenoblade is coming this year and The Last Story is likely to be released somewhere next year), because, well, it's RPGs we're talking about here.

Well, Rainfall is starting to get a lot of publicity from different Game News groups. They've also garnered support from devs and other industry important people like Michael Pachter (lol). Plus XSeed has subtly been hinting that they might be interested in publishing the games in NA if it were in their power to do so.

I read some stuff on their facebook page today and they are also trying to get some tips from Atlus. I really hope this works out, especially with the whole "we're going to appeal to core gamers" promise from E3.

Somewhat unrelated news: http://nintendo3dsblog.com/tales-of-the-...f-november
Can't wait.

Pandora's tower also seems like a really good game

Neither of them seem to care about the people who care about them. I think it's a reasonable comparison.

Hardly a surprise: All of the previous Jrpgs in america on wii tanked. I can see why they would hesistate to release 3 more. However, welcome to what europe had to deal with for the last 20 years.
On the other hand, I think NoA is bluffing, and expect an actual announcement of at least Xenoblade before the end of the year for america.

That's on Namco-Bandai though, not Sony.

Other RPGs? Like what? SYMPHONIA 2? You can't judge interest based on a terrible game like that. Even Super Paper Mario was BARELY an RPG.

Also I agree that it will be coming because there's no way they can ignore all of this. Xenoblade at the very least will be coming.

I dunno, Tales of Symphonia did pretty well on the Gamecube.

Also, victory or rumour?

Operation Rainfall Wrote:July 7, 2011

American localization of Xenoblade is complete, The Last Story is currently being translated to English for an American release, but there is no word on Pandora’s Tower localization. This information was disclosed to Operation Rainfall today from a source within Nintendo who wishes to remain anonymous. There is currently no indication of when Nintendo of America plans to formally announce these titles.

Last week Nintendo of America told its followers on Facebook and Twitter that it had no plans to bring Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Pandora’s tower to America “at this time.” Nintendo intentionally left open the possibility of release. Allegedly, the Redmond, WA branch has been working with other branches to bring Xenoblade and The Last Story to North America.

The NSTC version of Xenoblade was completed just over a month ago. Testing for the PAL and NSTC versions of The Last Story are allegedly beginning in around a month. There is currently no word on localization for an NSTC version of Pandora’s Tower.

Remember, this information was disclosed to Operation Rainfall in confidence. Until Nintendo of America makes an announcement there will be no official word of an NTSC release. However, this news has increased our hope for a North American release of these games. It could also explain why retailers like Amazon continue to have Xenoblade (Monado: Beginning of the World) listed on their website.

Make of this information what you will, but after much internal discussion Operation Rainfall believed it would be best to share this information with our followers. Consider this our announcement of a forthcoming announcement.

Help us keep the pressure on Nintendo, and hopefully we will get a formal announcement of Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower sooner rather than later.

Fingers crossed.

August would be a fine release date.

Hopefully they release it soon if they will at all not sure of what that thing meant entirely seems to imply to me that they finished the american version of one game and started on another..

On another note Tales of Symphonia is awesome so much it made me replay it tons of times I don't clock over 400 hours in one game easily. Never played the sequel probably will eventually.

August for america just got slightly more likely, Europes release date just got pushed forward from september to mid august. If they could have had it in a releasable state that soon though, they're absolute morons for not showing it at E3.

I dunno, I remember showing it to a friend, and his response was that he thinks that Nintendo's even more idiotic than he initially thought.
