Random free 25k NX?

I randomly checked my CS and I had 25k NX and the last thing I had sold in MTS was a 10ATT WG. o_O I have another friend that randomly got 25k NX too, what about anyone else?

Last week, MapleStory experienced an issue with NPC Frederick losing merchants' items and mesos being held by him after the Chaos update. We reviewed many ways to restore the items and mesos, but it was not possible. We sincerely apologize for this issue that affected some of our merchants. This issue should not happen again, and we will make sure of that.

Because we could not restore the items and mesos that were involved in the incident, the affected merchants will receive NX 25,000 Prepaid.

I've had a few friends get it too, didn't get it myself though D: If you check your NX history on the site, it says Prepaid - Event, I believe.

Exactly.
He is supposed to deliver items and meso from Nexon to players, in the unlikely event that Nexon decides it was their fault a player lost his item(s). Like, oh, I don't know, maybe Frederik glitching :f6:

And on top of that, I think Nexon probably believes they're not even the ones at fault. I know some people who spent from 50 to 100 USD to cube an item, only to sell it and/or trade it for others and leaving them in their shop to advertise and to show the real deal. There's no telling to how thoroughly angry those players are.

full of bs lol. i should ask hime, then how nexon could recover all my equips, scroll, potions, chairs, gm scroll after 7 months? they are probably just being too lazy to check backups and recover every item.

Funny thing is, while this is all nexon fault and they just say: oh we are sorry heres 25k nx for the item you spend $500 cubbing, on wow, that dude Ob3lisk npced his epic dagger, logged a ticket, and in the next day, a blizzard GM sent to him his dagger, and it was all the player fault.

Reminds me about this eMS video where hacker asked GM to ban him, while he was standing on the canopy in Henesys that was impossible to reach legitly without hacks. GM was like "Why?"

IIRC Ted lost his 36 int 24 matk 18% int vip earrings didn't he? This is no where near fair compensation. I'm so glad I got my stuff back the first time but wow, if it was me I do not know what I would do, I would be so upset.

@Satellite, that gm probably didn't know the code to ban someone. That, or the other likely possibility that the gm thought the hacker wasn't doing anything unrealistic for a normal player, since gm's don't actually log onto the game.

i'm pretty sure he spend over $15 dollar to make a single item, that now nexon is just like: oh hey, we have no idea how to search on our own database, so im sorry but all the money you spend is in our pocket, i mean, is wasted :|.

sometimes, i feel like some people "pay to suffer" while playing maple, i felt like that, reason why i left.
