Signs of Alien PQ coming back?

i really liked figuring out how the alien HP and everything worked, but i've never been one to train, so this PQ never hit me hard... except the first week when rthe summons would literally take the spawn, it was a real alien invasion, which although annoying, was hilarious. a friend of mine saved the boots, i wasn't able to get the crystanol to save the gloves, those were some pretty cool equips, and i'd like a second chance at getting them

nostalgia goggles ofc. i know they messed up everyone's training, to the point that this pq was kind of "forced" but hey, alien invasion f3

and only my DrK has the medal, i forgot to do the last quest on the DB ~_~

So, maplers are aliens in the future?
I too would not mind getting another chance at getting the vis equips(except for the helm)

I know it's an irrational complaint seeing as Maplestory doesn't focus on story, but the Visitor Event coming back just wouldn't make sense if we got a carbon copy of the last one.
We already stopped that future, after all.
It'd have to be a sequel or Nexon would have to tell us that our memories have been wiped.
Or maybe there's a temporal anomaly...

Then again, if I'm seriously gonna get into the timeline of Maplestory, I'd have to point out how incongruence of Future Ereve + Visitor Future + Neo City...
Or how nonsensical it is that we can go in the future, see that Cygnus turns evil, and yet we do nothing in the present to stop her.

we do, also, reading from the dream fragment story, it might very well be a "possible" future, instead of one set in stone. one thing i liked from LKC and future ereve, is how they seem to have a story of their own, not just "lolbackground just cause just kill her"

Cygnus not knowing could easily be remedied by, ya know, telling her.
I'm gonna pull a Godwin's Law here:
Going into the future to defeat an evil Cygnus would be like someone in 1919 finding a portal to 1942 (the midst of WWII) and deciding, instead of stopping Hitler before he started making trouble, to send troops into the future to stop him after a mess has already been made.

I'd attribute the dream fragment story to being an easy way to tell a stretched out story.
But, yeah, it's probably just a 'possible future' (still doesn't make the players' actions make sense).

The only thing that would surprise me there is a connection to Masteria.
And I'd be also be disappointed.

If Nexon were to expand on Masteria, I'd love to see a deeper explanation of the connection to Versal, the world the Twisted Masters hail from.
It would make perfect sense for it to be revealed to also be the world from whence Pink Bean hails, and we know how much Nexon loves to mention/showoff that character.

Discussions like these make me wish there were a decent compilation of Maplestory's lore.
There's got to be at least one person obsessed enough to compile and catalog it.

There is a FAR older thread that used to exist when IsaacGS was still around. He organized any sort of lore and possible expansions that Masteria had. This was WAY back in the day though, so i don't know if the thread exists anymore.

Also, it's time travel. Bing could have come back to 2010, 2011, 2012 etc. looking for enough people to stop the conquest. I mean, there were aliens from the future around before the players got the suits, so obviously he's not stuck moving to a single point in time.

Theoretically, once that was accomplished, he would have no reason to visit other times.

Now that they showed a server check saying that they will unable people to access VPQ, now everyone WILL try go to VPQ before server check, lol. Couldn't they just ommited it from the sc notes and posibly temp ban the people exploiting it? -_-
