entering zakum altar.

so we keep missing zak, how do you enter the altar? even when our party was in the room with the door outside closed and 1 member out to tell us when it opens, holding down npc chat. we still missed.

is there some kind of secret to entering zak? does holding npc chat not work? please for the love of god. help!

What server are you on? There is more-or-less always a Zak. channel open on Galicia. I guess I never thought other servers would be THAT full...

When the door opens, I run in and spam click on the npc and mash the enter button simultaneously. I get in most of the time. Latency certainly plays a role.

Test here and see. If you're in California, your response time should be around 20ms, I'm guessing.

I know this may sound silly, but make sure you're in a Normal Zakum Expedition, otherwise it won't let you in.

Which is the entire reason I don't bother playing KMS here, I'd rather wait until I get back to Seoul. The lag on looting is like 1 second per item, ugh.

The time that the door opens and a new party is allowed to be created are not the same. Usually they are about 30-60 seconds apart. So if you click immediately it tells you the other party is still in there. Keep clicking for at minimum one minute. You'll see the blue notice that an expedition has been started when it actually is created.

These people in Galicia are SITTING in the Altar WAITING. They take 40 minutes to finish and they're running down the clock waiting. They had RUSHED OUT to get in before us despite having JUST GONE. F`ucking ridiculous. They need a repeat timer for sh`it like this.
