Poll: Is it ok to urinate in the shower?
#1
This is a serious question. I'm not trying to troll or push the limits or anything, so if this is inappropriate, please remove/close, whatever.

If you are alone in the shower, and you need to pee, what do you guys think? Is it ok to just let it out?

To be clear, i'm not talking about spraying all over. Just peeing into the drain. I think we all know that getting into a nice hot shower can make the bladder relax a little.

There's a time and place for everything. If it's not an emergency, I try to be proper.

Lol.

Holding it in is bad for you.

Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected.

The point of the shower is to get clean. Standing in your own urine defeats the purpose. And no matter how deadly accurate you are, some of that urine is coming back your way.

I don't even want to know what the follow-up poll is going to be here... :X

Well I find it just common decency, don't piss where yours or anyone else's feet may ever touch. I don't expect people to step in urinals, but I do expect them to step in showers.

however ur still in the shower and the running water will drain all that urine off of ur body anyway

Still getting urine all over yourself. Pretty gross imo.

I say yes, assuming the water is running to wash it into the drain....

Also, the piss doesn't wash back up to your feet unless the water isn't flowing into the drain properly. By the time you're done in the shower it'll have completely cleaned away on it's own, not even counting the soap that washes through it.

..Not really o.o.
When you piss in the drain and the water is being poured over, it's essentially like a toilet flushing.

God, I'm never using a public shower ever again.

@above: Do you step in a toilet?

A bit dramatic.

What the f`uck?
That's completely different. I'm stating that the way the water flows is the same as a toilet flushing. You guys are giving piss some sort of amazing blast radius or something because you're making it seem like it can crawl up your body or some sh`it I don't even wanna know.

not over yourself. worse case scenario is a little bit of it touches the bottom of your feet, which will get drained/washed away anyway
and the drained is designed in such a way that the whole is a bit steeper than the rest of the floor, thus if u pee it will go with the water flow to the drain. and since u shower with soap, the leftover soap from your body will pretty much washes it

Water doesn't just go toward the drain while the shower is running. It swishes around a lot, and even if you hit the drain there's good chance that some of that will come back your way.

Don't different water outlets get treated differently?

I have no idea what drain you have.

If I forget to beforehand, I'm not getting out of the shower and getting my bathroom floor all wet just to piss. Also when I flush my toilet the shower loses water pressure, which it's already somewhat lacking in. I make sure to wash my feet with soap after of course. No harm done.

Most disgusting concept ever. Urine belongs nowhere near the water that you are cleaning yourself with. I don't care how accurate you are. The toilet is, probably, right outside the shower. Use it.
