When are they going to make maple weapons tradeable...

Why wouldn't they just do an emergency patch and fix these huge issues instead of server maintenance every day.

Same thing I was thinking. But can't they just patch without updating the version number? I mean, if you add the non-updating version numbers, we are well above 100 patches.

MS has been down for 32 hours out of the last 62.

Isn't it funny how there were less problems when they did a monthly patch, compared to now, when they're taking months for 'huge content'? You'd think, that with all that time, they could test things out first, and then apply fixes to tespia, and then use reports from tespia to fix it. But, it's Nexon. DFO was suffering from a lack of updates a while ago, but it seems like it's getting regular updates now. Mabinogi is still getting updates, roughly once a month or so. Even those two games have less problems than MS. Well, Mabi has a small hacking issue, and DFO has a few issues of it's own, but it's nothing game-breaking. Literally, MS being broken yesterday...
That, and tespia was also borked for the most part, and even had hackers, sooo....

Seems like the longer time used to get content was a waste of time, because it's no different if they rushed it.
Especially with the beginning of Chaos. Maybe they're using it as an excuse to check on other games. Maybe they're using it as an excuse to get free time. And funny thing, with those 3 games, Nexon extended all their maintenance at least once. Nexon's performing very poorly this week. And with 2 more updates for Chaos, it's expected to be applied to this month.

At least, with their monthly patch, they'd be able to patch script kiddies temporarily. But, now? They don't bother. Don't you just love Nexon logic?

I like how the increase in hacker activity and increase in unscheduled server checks have correlated with Nexon's awesome Fewer, but Bigger patch mindset...

We are all still waiting for the compensation they said they'd give us from the previous round of map crashers the other week.

No, instead of patching hacks, what they did was make MS a massive memory hog so hackers can't bot twenty accounts at once anymore.

I have successfully played a bit under 2 hours of maplestory out of 10 or so attempted.

Is this number counting when individual servers were down as well?

Don't worry guys! After the 9 hour server check, you will STILL be map crashed, you STILL can't trade Maple items to your new statless characters, people will STILL be getting chaos warrior items at level 10, items will STILL be missing from Frederick, and you STILL can't CWKPQ!
