Best way to grind professions
#1
I wouldn't like to GRIND but seeing we are gonna get the same events as kms I'm looking forward to the profession leveling event ( the one which you get a godly recipe ( at least for jewelcrafting) at lvl 10 of the profession if you reach it in a certain amount of time). My questions are:

It's NECESSARY to have gathering mules ( at least 1 I guess) to reach lvl 10 in the event time?

In how much time would you be able to level to 10 a profession doing it with mules tho? ( considering you max your fatigue each day with the maker , drink the pots , max it again , wait before 00:00 , max it again , that each day)

What's a good gathering spot ? I read in some post in this forum there was a mini dungeon in sahel desert that was one of the best places for grinding herbs and ores

And the last one: I think it does but I would like to have confirmation... Do the profession help you to get better equips ( or buffs with pots) without having to rely on maple player economy ? I think yea cuz I got already some recipes for lvl 120 items without much effort and that would only make the gallant emblems the hard thing ( but not tradeable so doing pvp is your only chance , which is good for me) , or are the high end ores hard to get?

Sorry for all the long post but I need most of these question answered Smile , thank you in advance

Yes it is necessary to have gathering mules if you don't have the ores already. It's also necessary to have an ore smithing mule so you don't waste fatigue on your main making all the plates/jewels.

10 days to get to level 10.

Best gathering spot looks like masteria. Specifically, crossroads.

Profession helps you not rely on others as much, but the economy will obviously still play a huge role in prices.

Does anyone here have a list of things you can forge with recommended level to craft it?
It'd really help out with the math >_>

So far I have this cruddy ass list due to lack of decent info.

That's all accurate. You use the 388 gold/topaz to go 6->10. I asked iAmFear about it because there are items you can make w/ 1 garnet, 1 diamond and 1 dark crystal....and the mold and he said those rings require recipes (which were 300k/use in tespia) so if you wanna drop a couple hundred million on that, feel free.

sooo , 2 mules for each main profession then hmm...

Well 10 days doesn't sound bad at all , maxing the fatigue gets done fast right?

Yeah, you can shave down that expectancy time by several days at a time if you buy the fatigue resets, which i will be doing.

Thanks Big Grin
Also for future reference I wasn't calling your info cruddy/nondecent. I just re-read it and it seemed like that, I hope you get what I meant though

Yeah, it's cool. I actually said I was gonna do it a while ago, so this is really long overdue.

that list is very cool , but :

does it say what you SHOULD make at each level for optimal leveling ? or is just a complete list of equips and what levels you should make them if you want to do them?

The latter.

It's a complete list.

Also, you can't be a blacksmith and a jeweler. You have to be either a miner or a herbalist, and then either a jeweler or smith if you're a miner, and an alchemist if you're a herbalist. Smelting ores is mining.

oh

it would be cool to have like a "guide" of what to craft for optimal leveling

and I can't have 2 main prof ? dang that's crap XD , not that it matters , the thing I Want the most is the dark angelic ring

And btw , I guess no , but do the 2 angelic rings stack?

So crossroads are the best ? Cuz they're flat maps and very long right?

are jewelists the only ones that get a recipe on lv 10?

I have a txt file of what to craft at each level, but i'm sure by the time i get on my not work computer to post it, someone else will have.

No angelic rings don't stack. Crossroads are the best because they have a large variety of the veins that drop required ores.

@ above: Alchemists get a super power'd growth potion (grow to 500x size, i think), and blacksmiths get a premium android recipe.

No , all prof get things at lvl 4 and 10 , but the most imba thing , If i'm not wrong , is of course the dark angelic ring

He means which specific items to forge with those materials. Like i said i have a guide exactly like that, but i can't post it.
