"free slot"

So, if you create a jumpstart character on an account that doesn't have all its char slots used, you get no free slot. it appears at first that you didn't get a free slot, but if you logout and relog it appears.

If you create one on a full account, you do get a free slot, but if you delete it you lose the slot.

I'd probably put this in Angry Dome, but I think it's something Maplers need to know, and some of them don't go in the social forums.

What if we fill all the slots, make a character, then delete the mules ?

You can only make one jumpstart character.
Also, if you make it in a slot you already have, and delete it, you keep the slot.

So basically they're being fucking cunts and not giving us free slots.

Weird? I remember that i deleted the Lvl 50 DB and started a new one... and i already had all my char slots full too.

Maybe that got fixed in the unscheduled maintenance...
or maybe you did something with your level 50 DB before deleting it?
I never even logged in to it.

Um. I created a Jump Start character, deleted it, and made a new character with the slot just fine.

Relogged on the account that (I thought) had the slot taken away, and it's there. Either I didn't see the faint outline or it was only briefly gone.

Yeah. I had the same problem yesterday. I had 1 open slot before I created the jumpstart DB. When I did create the DB, it wasted my open slot instead of gaining and using a new one. I eventually re-logged, and the 1 open slot I had before I made my jumpstart DB came back. xD

This. I made my Jumpstarted character on a mule account for the slot, but i forgot to max out characters first. It appeared at first that I didn't get the extra slot, however when re-logged I found that an additional slot was added.

I deleted my old db and filled my empty slot. If I delete 1 of the slot-mules I have, will I lose 1 slot or will both 2 slots be saved?

Just needed to relog for the slot to reappear. Tiny visual glitch really. Disregard.
