Oh i read that as battle mage and missed vengeance. Yeah i just agree to the whole "Everyone should get a reset". Reasoning doesn't matter, you're making changes, we deserve to be wiped clean because of it regardless of class.

I guess the Resistance boxes were different then, as they expired when I tried using them.

I hadn't put them in storage, iirc, so that may have been the case.

Yup, SP reset scrolls have a delay in expiring once you take them out of storage. If you leave them in there, they stay and don't get deleted as if time itself is frozen.

Well it seems reasonable that they would try to screw us over again. So which classes desperatly need a sp reset this time and at what level does it become important in case I have to choose which character gets it?

Off the top of my head:

Well aran's are getting a huge change so those are in the top of the list.
DBs have major changes.
Mechs are getting nerfs pre 4th job, but it's nothing along the lines of the aran changes.

So basically if CoH was a 20 max skill that dropped to 5 max we get the 15 points back right? If so doesn't the skills balance out from mastery levels dropping and skills being removed?

Personally I don't agree with the "everyone deserves full resets". There honestly is no reason for classes that are being untouched to get free resets. There's only a need for classes who are receiving changes to get reset.

This. If all already existant Arans, Evans and DB got a free SP reset scroll, I coulnd't be able to complain.

I'd be ok with this aswell, similar to Jump, only the classes with the most impending changes should get them, but I hate limiting it to hot time, and you get fucked with multiple characters/accounts.

And Mech's... too many skills are changed there too, I want other SP allocation in a lot of skills on my Mech...

But hey, easiest would be to give out free SP resets to everyone, no harm done, no complaining players... ok problem solved... but there is still Nexon America...

Saw this one coming a mile away. I just need a reset really on my level 71 aran (that i leveld way back in the day when level 70-->71 took like 3 hours)

Though i would like to SP reset my bowmaster since i want to max bow expert over hurricane (i have level 10 hurricane and level 17 bow expert...) And that one goddamned point out of vengeance! Curse you revamp for making me want to test out the new skills!

So, not only am i banned for no reason except incompetence on nexon's part, my dual blade is screwed forever if the hot time event is before July 12th?

I didn't realize not getting a free SP reset scroll would be this bad for Arans. I can't max combo smash because the rest of the points are into pole arm booster, therefore I can't have combo fenrir, nor combo judgement, nor combo tempest. And since I can't use points on combo Fenrir because it's locked, I can't even put the rest of my points into any 3rd job skill, so either I use 3rd job points in 1st and 2nd job skills, or I lose my finishers. So I'm obligated to be on for any of the hot time events or my char will be obsolete.

Now I totally understand the rage of the DB's here. I thought this patch was supposed to help these 3 jobs, not to pineapple them up the ass.

SP is lagging like heck.

We did it guys. Thanks to our combined efforts, we were able to persuade Nexon into seeing how badly we need skill resets.

So, anyone else think that denying free SP resets then offering them as compensation was part of the original plan to anticipate downtime for patching bugs? Nexon can be pretty crafty sometimes-look at the free trial VIP rock.
