You want a skill reset?
#41
@up

First of all not only Aran got new skills (dbs also)
2nd out of milions ppl playing ms there are lots that would like to reset their skills. Our of 2-3 hot times which probably be split in like 3-4 weeks you have only 2-3 mins to get the stupid scroll. You think ppl want to spend their time on that when they should get em for free? (all the games i played that tweaked something with skills did free skill reset)
3rd Kms players got their skill reset so why shouldn't we get it as well? cause our "company" is greedy? pshh
thats why ppl complain kthx
(sorry if there are any spelling / grammar errors but english isnt my main language kthx)

Solarboy Wrote:Seriously, why are you all mad? You get your freaking sp reset in hot time, so why complain? It's not like any other classes actually got new skills aside from Aran (Evan doesn't count since the skills remain basically the same)

This whole situation is hilarious.

Do you even bother to read?

The Hot Times were for those who either didn't log in soon enough after the patch, or messed up their new skill build somehow.

except it was botched up as hell, and we had missing SP, which required the SP reset, or you'd be lacking some, not to mention skills getting moved around.

The biggest summer patch that's supposed to inspire players to come back, pushes them on the ground. Waiting two weeks to enjoy the latest overhyped patch this year sounds a bit, stupid, don't you think?

Jesus fu'cking christ, it's my 6th time writting this because this stupid computer keeps refreshing for no reason.

Anyways

@Locked All I read was people complaining about something they can't change.

@Khaini I don't think every single person coming back is going to do so for Dual Blades and Arans. Besides, the hero rebalance is not the main atraction of Chaos.

Considering last time the complaining changed everything I think its worth it, you obviously don't have more than 1 character if you honestly think Nexon is making the correct move, or you don't actually play the game.

Either way you don't understand the concerns of the majority of the playerbase, if you find this hilarious, its game, but people invest a lot into to, and want to enjoy, Nexon is constantly pomegranateting on us and its annoying.

I have 6 characters, each of them important, but why would I need to change their skill point distribution again?

Probably because Nexon went and changed a lot of skills around, added a whole new way to gain EXP, new bosses, changed the way players work together, but you're right only 1-2 out of 6-8 characters deserve a reset, I mean that way we will buy those hilariously priced SP Resets.

Solar, sir. Evan skills didn't remain the same. Some new skills have been added, the build has been completely, drastically changed. Skills gone into a huge change, or did anyone really train with Dragon Trust instead of Flame Breath before?
SP resets are indeed needed, anything that goes through such revamp deserves a SP reset because the whole situation for the job has changed.

It's not about complaining, whining about nothing. But being disappointed once again with the fact they're repeating the same ridiculous mistake they've done some months ago. DB's, Arans and Evans were COMPLETELY changed, the damage of the skills could have stayed close to the original, but many skills work differently, many skills have changed drastically how trainig works.

It's not something about giving SP resets out of nothing, because of nothing. These jobs need those because the game doesn't work the same way it was before for them. It's pretty damn impressive on how this happened in Big Bang, and because of all the ridiculous situation, they took a step backwards their decision and gave those resets. And now refuse to. Committing one mistake is part of humans, but doing the same, twice? It's stupidity.

You should take a little look at the skills post chaos. Some of them became crucial for training, changing total and completely the way you grind. :o
It wasn't just a % change, like many think that it is.

About Hot Time, sincerely, even though you get the SP resets from it, is it really a smart move to revamp classes now when they only can "see" the revamp in some weeks in the Hot time?

WORLD TRANSFERS!!!!
#51
i like how they stated in patch notice that world transfers wont happen yet most bs person in nexon says they will do it haha.
<3 their way to comunicate.
#52

Solarboy Wrote:@Locked All I read was people complaining about something they can't change.

Uhm, actually...last time (Big Bang), we complained hard enough and DID get our reset, though with some conditions to them. The past has shown that Nexon DOES read fan forums, and if enough of a fuss is made, they WILL do something about it.

I would like to add that in the end, the SP reset that we got was time limited (to a week I think), and expired, so that if you weren't playing in the immediate few weeks after big bang, you'd be screwed. A friend of mine came back to maple in January. She had messed up 4th job skills for the longest time till she leveled out of the problem. Even WITH their "fix", some people still ended up getting screwed over (and I would even dare to say a majority, because a large part of the population takes breaks from maple). Why they can't give us something as simple as a non-expiring sp reset when all skills have been realigned is beyond me and something I will probably never understand.
#54
SP resets expired in KMS too. Can't really blame Nexon when the player is who didn't stick around.
#55
Luckily most of my characters don't have any major changes. I'd like to take some SP out of SE and add it to hurricane and get some more stance on my Paladin but oh well.

>Put SP scroll in Storage

Locked Wrote:>Put SP scroll in Storage

I'm sure it would expire when you tried to use it, as the Resistance boxes did. That remains to be seen, though.

Unless someone was able to successfully pull that off with Big Bang.
#58
Uhhh, bowmen skills aren't that altered in Chaos, right?
#59
Mike Wrote:Uhhh, bowmen skills aren't that altered in Chaos, right?

Hurricane gets buffed, and that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Minor skill buffs/nerfs, nothing too drastic that it warrants freaking out should you not get an SP reset.
#60
someone i know had done first job advancement late on his main, no biggie, 6 SP of first job lost.

then SP reset hit and with the new SP-administrating formula, BAM, 6 SP missing in 4th job.
