You want a skill reset?
#21
You can't be on a boat or other transport-type map.
During the Big Bang Hot Times, some people complained about not getting theirs while in various other types of maps (FM? PQ?), and so for the very last event, Nexon recommended being idle in a town. Not talking to NPCs, or having a mini-game open, or anything that might interfere.

The last Hot Times were smack-dab in the middle of 2x events, though, so a lot of people stayed in their normal training maps and got their boxes just fine there.

Damn Nexon. Seriously? At least give me some lipstick, because I'd like to look pretty when you pineapple me.
On more serious note, hopefully there will be Hot Time events during the week too. Mapling on a friday/saturday night isn't my way of spending weekend.

Locked Wrote:They announce the times. Hot Time event is one minute long. When that one minute passes, you get an automatic pop up (beware, you can die..) from Cassandra and she will give you a box. You need 2 free USE slots, I think. Oh and you can't be in town iirc.

Thanks a lot. I'll have to keep an eye out on the website, can't afford to miss this again Hurt Fingers crossed the events aren't at like 3am GMT :c
#24
If memory serves, they used to be at 2pm pst, which is, what, 9pm GMT? Doable, unless you have other plans for Saturday night...
#25
Funny how they first screw me over with giving me the message of ´´You have gained a SP reset scroll´´ and not it not being in my freaking inventory (Yes I had slots)
And now this? I'm so gonna miss this hot-time event. Yay my db is gonna suck. Nexon rocks ;D

Oh well I can always get skill resets from CS.
OHWAIT Can't get NX anymore trololol. Rolleyes (Yes I still mad Tongue)
#26
1 step forward, a dozen steps back.
#27
Leave it to NexonNA to always screw some of the easiest stuff up in the game, because they're greedy as hell.
Shock Horror...

Also lol @ 99% of the people in that topic being oblivious about the SP reset and hot time event.
#28
Because I love picking and choosing between the 4-5 characters I play [or who need resets now with the skill changes] on who to reset and who to leave fucked for 6 months.
...actually to hell with them if they put it in the middle of a 2x again.
#29
Even funnier that no one expected it Biggrin.
#30
Times like this it's good i have one major character. Also good that hot time is always on weekends, since i literally have no way of getting on for hot time in the middle of the week.

Ugh, really? I can think of a million things I'd rather do than waiting for a Nexon event on a Saturday night >___> Might have to ask guildies if they can log into my account or something if that's the case. Still, thanks for the replies RE: the event guys!

Did they not pineappleing learn from last time, i think just need to pre-rage. You cannot go and reformat a game, and not make SP-Resets fully available to all characters why can't they understand this.

Someone should find the old thread, and remind them of how this pomegranate worked out last time.

Chaos... one small step for men, but a giant leap for Nexon America into the eternal shiethole of epic failing! Big Grin

I'm glad I used the old big bang hot time event SP reset scroll on my DB and didn't play it / put in SP's yet, so I can use this (one?) hot-time event for my real main character...

Now you see folks, not playing maple characters = pure profit!!! :o

They want everyone to log on at the same time and be likez, heyz we gotz 1000000Kajliioon concurrent playahz, however they could just do the level up capsule, not piss off as many people, and still get a lot of people on at the same tiem.
#36
What's extremely surprising is that a majority of the people in the Nexon forums thread are like, "Oh, that's cool, want a smoke while you plow me in the ass?"
#37
During Big Bang, did Nexon end up giving SP resets to every character as long as you logged in or something after a couple of Hot Times? I managed to reset skills on my alternates even though I recall being on my 2 mains during Hot Time. Memory's a bit fuzzy, but I remember having to relog/cc or something to get the notice, and the SP reset scroll would show up in inventory automatically.

In Big Bang, all characters got an SP reset, *before* all the Hot Times (but only after much raging from the players).
The Hot Times were for those who either didn't log in soon enough after the patch, or messed up their new skill build somehow.

It's funny because I predicted this.

Locked Wrote:This is what's going to happen.
Nexon's going to open up the Chaos patch. No SP resets.

People will be raged. Mad raged actually. People will spam Nexon forums, basilmarket, Southperry, and every other forum known to man. -Hime- will come up and say "Oh my, we apologize for this! It was meant to be a surprise!"
Nexon will make a notice, saying we're going to have free SP resets for a week. People are somewhat relieved, but other people are pissed off because they lost some 3rd job SP.
This will be Chaos.

Seriously, why are you all mad? You get your freaking sp reset in hot time, so why complain? It's not like any other classes actually got new skills aside from Aran (Evan doesn't count since the skills remain basically the same)

This whole situation is hilarious.
