Ah, I meant originally in 3d as in n64 3d, rather than 3ds 3d.

Won't make Platinum this year. Feels bad, man. Got the statue thing last year though.
Probably would be cheaper to just buy whatever this year's gift is from eBay.

(or insert other cutscene of your choice here).
That probably makes them more intresting.

Ocarina of Time has always been a mediocre game and will always be a mediocre game. Watching Link pull out the master sword did nothing for me. Zelda games are way over-rated and in that context OoT is the worst because it's become a legend for doing nothing special. I can think of literally dozens of other games that are better than OoT in every way from both before and after its release. There's nothing heart-stopping or spectacular about OoT in any way.
Punch seems like the kind of guy who gets excited about little things though. PIZZA FOR DINNER? YOU'RE THE BEST MOM!!! Then later with a full mouth he would sputter something about it being the most heavenly slice of pizza he's ever tasted.

I got Platinum the first year, Gold last year, and I'll probably get Gold again this year... except I'm away from home and need 10 more coins to make it. Guess I'll have to ask some people who don't care about the codes... :x

2 insults in one?
Is that even necessary?

I think you're just mad because the game didn't auto-save for you after you beat Ganon.
Yeah. That's it.

Characterization =/= insult. There's nothing even insulting about that.

You do realize you're talking to Sarah, right? She has no limit, filter, or anything of the sort. :S

Still, most people would disagree with you on your "Characterization"

You sure?
I see it insulting. I don't even know the guy, I just think it's highly unnecessary to shoot the kid down.

They already did that with mario 64 and The "New" Super Mario Bros for the Wii.

Well, considering I quoted Lozmaster, I think it's obvious that I was talking to him in regards to OoT being not-so-great. Which was an insult to Nintendo, I guess. But an indirect characterization--especially one about someone being easily impressed--is by no means offensive. If one were offended by this then they are too easily offended. That would be like saying YOU'VE GOT THE IMAGINATION OF A CHILD to someone and them storming off. It's just not an offensive thing to say. Especially considering the alternative to being easily impressed is being super cynical like EVERY OTHER PERSON HERE, especially me.

So with the release of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D two days ago an unusual complaint arose, and a valid one.
You can't delete the save file.
This means that anything you unlock is unlocked forever. That doesn't sound bad but it makes selling the game to someone else near impossible because who the pineapple wants to play someone else's save file? Also, all replay value is lost if you pick it up again in a few months or years. Capcom is claiming it's not a new form of DRM or deterrent to buy second-hand but that seems like a load of pomegranate to me. This is a pretty serious issue. I would suggest avoiding buying this game (not like it was a real game anyway. Seriously, why the hell would they make a "full game" out of a mini-game?)

Big deal. Can't delete your own high scores. Why would you want to anyway?
People who buy from Gamestop are losers!

Two things
First, no point buying it used. I don't just buy used from Gamestop, I buy from pawn shops. I like to buy a game used and then, y'know, start my own game. Not too much to ask.
Second, can't start a new game later if I want to, which I often do. It doesn't just keep high scores, it keeps EVERYTHING YOU'VE UNLOCKED. As in, there is nothing you can achieve BESIDES high scores if someone else has already done it or if you've already done it in the past.
That's a big deal.

But it's Mercenaries mode made into it's own game. I never once thought "Know what would be fun? Wiping out my high scores and unlockables."
I might agree if it had a story mode or something, but it's just a cheap Capcom cash in.
