I NEED BATTLE MAGE HELP.

So I was messing with the Korean planner again (because ASPS isn't updated with the new skills). Turns out I can max both Full Swing AND Chaser Press but at the cost of Battle Groove. Is this worth doing? If not, which one would be worth maxing, Swing or Press?

Only reason I considered dropping Groove is because I don't even know how it works. SI apparently fixes it as to where the buffs stay active even after the combo ends but there is no indicator as to how long that even lasts. At least with Chaser buffs there's a buff icon, Battle Groove doesn't have that. It's confusing as hell.

Losing free STR at the cost of stronger skills? Hmmm, Strikers sure as heck max Stampede for that delicious +200 STR, Battle Mages will need all the free damage boosts they can get. I think Press MAY be sacrificeable since that EX Full Swing in those videos does a ton of damage.

*Hang on, did you use that Lithe's Contract yet? If not, keep it in the mailbox until after SI, and experiment later to see how strong Battle Groove is vs max Full Swing and Chaser Press.

However, the cooldown is apparently pretty long (correct me if I'm wrong) so that's why I considered maxing it anyway. Might just leave Full Swing at 5 and keep Battle Groove. It's such a nice skill, though...

Seeing it's a Witch skill, I don't why not. Free MP, and a one minute duration of bonus INT instead of the 20 seconds of Ancient Memory, or the 12 seconds of Elemental Burn.

Dat duration. I seriously need to know it in order to decide on a build. I can't ignore getting a massive amount of STR for doing what comes naturally, but if it poofs so quickly after, then I'll be able to disregard it...

EX full swing's cooldown is apparently about 20 seconds, so yeah. It may be stronger, but you can throw in two full swings during its cooldown.

Well, I got my regular skills down (dropping Water Chaser, it was nice while it lasted), but I'm a bit lost on the EXes... I originally had EX Full Swing, Mana Shield, Palm Blast, Chaser Upgrade, Good Hit and Strength. Then I noticed that I might need INT for Supersword and Chaser press and after looking into EX Punto Wave, it looks like a good investment. But I'd need to sacrifice Good Hit and Palm Blast for both of those. I'M SO CONFOOSED. :c

Keep or sell the wings?
I could use the money to buy a whole avatar set for my Battle Mage, which I plan to play when Third Strike comes. I still have the cape from before, but this looks pretty. However I don't get the full adv avatar set anymore.
