Most people tend to use overalls for bowmen because Dex scrolls (and now str) can be applied for overall scrolling.
Bowmen stop using top and bottom equipment after level 50. Unless they scroll top for str and dex for bottom, then consider them obsolete.

I prefer top+bottom but there aren't any high level ones for Bowmen so they're at a bit of a disadvantage to overalls. So for stats I'd pick overall, but I like how top+bottom looks.

I prefer overalls since they have higher base stats and the 30s are more powerful, but at mid grade top+bottom should definetely beat overalls.

Tops/Bottoms are definitely cheaper and the poor-man's way to get a very decent set of stats for your clothing as well as some free speed. However, if you want something that's truly powerful, you can't do anything but overall.

Most people that are trying to scroll for str use top/bottom but otherwise everyone else uses overalls for the better dex. For the highest funded bowman you will see them use top/bottom since they can add str with the top and dex with the bottom so they can equip higher level bows w/o having to add str.

Depends on the degree of the stat bonuses you're looking for.
Up to 20 stats can be obtained very easily through 100% overall scrolls, so I wouldn't ever consider any real scrolling project that doesn't yield at least 22 combined stats on body clothing. It's just not worth it.
Between 22 and around 25-30, a top/bottom set is probably around the same as, or slightly stronger than, an overall of equivalent value. Sets tend to give more speed, and overalls defense. However, overalls are more mainstream and thus easier to find. Also, the set pretty much forces you to be semi low-STR, while with overalls you have flexibility in scrolling.
Anything past 30 is tough to get on a set, so you'd definitely get better results with 30'spammed overalls.

best overall is a scrolled bosshunter armor as it adds extra HP, but unless you have the money to throw around for the price of overall dex scrolls. str top, dex bottoms is the cheaper alternative

i would for sure do the top/bottoms if i could reset it all, having too much str is just horrible >.< but i would use an overall if you already have a ton of str. if you dont you should go with a bottom/top

More stats + cheaper = better. Right now, my thief top/bottom set gives 36 stats, and it probably costs about 400 mil. A 36 LUK/DEX overall would cost a shitload.
I think you should get the top/bottom if you care more about damage, than looks.
