Not really. Took me a few times to finally be able to log in, but it's still pretty finnicky.

What the HELL, Korea. Two HORRIBLE changes completely overshadow the final Tower finally being worked on... Why would they remove Hero's Road? NexonNA will embrace this NX seal crap with open arms.

Still too early to rage...

Because Hero's Road is a token wasting load of bullsh'it that nobody did. It's not even that different from King's, you just had monsters with more HP Regen and stupid attacks that drain all your HP. Bosses that heal 20+ bars worth of HP scream catering towards over geared players.
The difference between a 330k exp full king run and a 345k exp full hero run is not worth the extra retardation involved.

-Rare/Uniques/Etc items will now have a chance to be Magically sealed making them unequipable. Item(s) to remove this seal will drop from dungeons or be bought from CS (Inb4 Key fragment Horrible drop rate >.>). Monsters have a higher chance to drop these sealed items.

Btw it seems EX general Skills where removed (Test server remember) and Max level of the other EX skills where increased.

Also instead of Stat Stones or Sp books from quests, it seems you get QP or Quest points that you use to increase your stats instead now still a little fudgy on this. Link

Male Fighters Cast speed was increased by a pineapple ton and its on par with F.striker now.

Outer is fun and painful, mostly painful. But goddamn it, LEARN HOW TO OUTER 80% OF DFO. GOD.

and female priest....very interesting. Could use more...you know, clothes n' beef. Not saying make her a goddamn she-hulk, but priests=beef. Though Grandis is perfect <3.

ohmygod I just realized I might not make it to 60 before SI. I'm at 58, 45%. D: QUICK, WHAT'S THE BEST OPTION FOR EXP? Do I solo Verd King's (never tried, Master's hurts already) or move to Ghent and duo (I say duo because Ghent hurts by myself x_x)?

Karen you can either grind Ghent motorcycle guy cause the boss should be easy with Teana, verd. Whichever you know you can do fine, without dying too much.

Whoo boy...looking for some more build advice/opinions before SI. Nailed down my ranger and witch builds to a few loose SP:

Ranger:

General skills: Strength Training, QR, Phys Crit, Elemental Damage

Spitfire: Max Silver Bullet, 1 Silver bullet EX

Launcher: 1 BBQ

Two options with last SP: Max Scud, dump rest in Air Raid , or Max Air Raid and 7 Scud. If Air Raid doesn't influence the damage of Air Raid EX, I might not care for the second option. And before someone yells at me, Elemental Damage is in there because I planned on eventually getting a high level revolver with elemental damage on it (Fire?) and start stacking cards. I know, godly expensive, etc.

Witch:

General skills: QR, AM, Int training

Battle Mage: 10 Mana Shield

Elementalist: 17 Magic Festival and its prereqs

Standard AoE, leftovers in Drill. I really don't know the worth of festival, so I'd love to hear opinions on that. Ideas I had include:

- Switch points in Festival to max Burn, will have to sacrifice one level of something in the witch tree for this

- Dump Library for Burn

- Drop Festival and max Drill (or however far I can get it, didn't check)

I appreciate all insight and opinions. I hope I haven't gotten on anyone's nerves with all the build advice I ask for, I just try to get everything right the first time so I don't have to spend ~20k NX to fix it later. That, and it's always nice when someone points out when you're doing something blatantly wrong that you didn't know about.

That Witch build may suffice, but you might want to get EX swatter as it is awesomesauce damage.
I'd go about doing that by; dropping ice car, dropping fusion craft (really, level 1 isn't even helpful), dropping mana shield to 1, getting rid of festival and reqs, adding into befriend pluto, 5 swatter, max EX. I think that may work, atleast I think that's how most witches on DnF do it.

Or you may, if you can afford MP pots, drop library.

Alrighty then, quick things I notice about the witch build. 1 point in fusion craft really seems unnecessary. If you wanted to put more into drill you could use the points from removed awakening and take away befriend pluto since you won't need it for any more pre-reqs (plus the 90-something points that planner is missing) and pump it up another 3 levels at least. I would think putting points into EX mana shield would be worthwhile if you were already going to max it too. Also might want to check EX hit rate since it (supposedly) helps quite a bit on the higher difficulties.

Now on to magic festival...I will admit I'm biased here because I love the skill but I feel it's definitely worth it. You can have it up for half your dungeon runs and will allow you to keep jackyl/rain/lava up pretty much indefinitely because of the CD reduction.

On a side note, question for Tay: have you ever made hunters with EX swatter? since I assume you have max befriend pluto anyways...I ask because in the PTS even with max befriend I could still get failure EX swatter which means either befriend isn't supposed to affect it or Nexon screwed up on our version

I have gotten hunters, and I do have max befriend pluto( lv12 to be exact), but my EX swatter is only level 2. I'm not sure if it isn't affected by pluto, and if it isn't all the more reason to get it. It's great damage either way, and buffs are nice too even though they are short lived.

See, the thing is, I HAVE been grinding. I've been emptying out my FP bar and using all 5 Dreyfus's Invitations since two days ago. I plan on doing this until the patch. I also plan on grinding Town Invasion.

If I can get a partner who can help me do full ToD runs and solo Verd King's every day until the patch, I might make it... did the math and I would need to get at least 38.75% every day to make it to 60. Full ToD runs (which aren't guaranteed because APCs are jerks) give me ~20%, so I'd need close to another 20 grinding.

400k in EXP books will help, thankfully. I guess I'll solo Verd all day.
