3 Aura items, two of which are AP. I do not see any particular problem here. Especially for a lower level normal where I'd never want to rely on my teammates. That being said, Aegis and Philo Stone>Shurelya's are both good choices. Abyssal is a bit of an odd choice, especially since Teemo has one as well.

I think I got Abyssal first actually, not sure. I don't remember seeing Teemo with it before.
But yeah, I was keeping Philo Stone in mind, I've used it on Sona before. Just still messing around with builds on her to see what sticks better for me as a core build.
Edit:
Philo stone really did make me rake in the cash and allow me to get my aura gear a lot earlier. Think I'll be using it in my core build for Sona. Having TF there to boost my income really made my pockets so heavy that I felt I had to go back to the base every few minutes to buy new stuff. In the end I didn't even know what the hell to buy anymore so just stuck with trying to get shield (even though by this point my team was fed enough that we didn't really need it).

Next things you need to work on:
- Aegis of the Legion (get this ASAP; great early game item)
- Your CS. I understand you have to do your support and stuff, but please don't neglect the fundamental need of last-hitting minions whenever you can.
And I really need to work on finishing my jungle Amumu guide. I have to say...its going to be long and detailed.

Get Philo Stone and HoG and you're set for life.

Actually, for being a support, that CS is rather high.

I got an 11 on the narc test, didn't think anyone would start talking about it here lol.
Looks like I'm going to try wriggle's>Boots> Warmogs>Atmas on lee sin. I've been building lots of different stuff on him lately.
And yorick needs some buffs mang. He's fun to play though.

Is 1 too high?
Frankly, I think that CS is fine. People aren't going to be around to last-hit everything anyways >_>

I <3 the revamped Udyr. The stance dance mana reduction helps A LOT, especially in early game jungling. I noticed it immediately from the start. Ty Riot! <3
Phoenix Stance buff also noticed too. Helps a bit in jungling and in early game ganks.
According to Kaj, I hit 2.414 AS at one point in the Co-Op vs AI game I played with him. The only AS item I had was a Triforce. Yay for stance dancing, Triforce, Blood Boil, Tiger Stance, and whatever Kaj used on Nidalee?

As a support you should be where your team is, not the other way around. Sona doesn't have any decent farming moves anyway and shouldn't waste mana on simple creeps. For a 30 minute game that's enough creeps. In higher elo games you'll see that they almost last hit every creep and your only job is to buy wards/oracle and let your carry get the kills/cs while every once in a while your gold item lets you buy an aura item or obviously boots.

Buy a ward, prevent a gank.

I took into account the person's approximate skill level. There's a reason why roaming Alistar is just fail for mid-lower elo games and worse.
Also, it wouldn't be farfetched to get 10 CS for defending a tower during laning phase.

I dont really buy any AP items on Sona, just Aura items like Shroud and Aegis and then like Banshees and Philo.
Ive gotten a Rylais once for the HP and slow but ive only just realised you're only gonna be slowing people with your Q so its kind of a waste. Deathcap would prolly be the only item id buy on her for AP and/or Soulstealer if you think you can keep stacks up.
Helps to have a free slot on support anyway to fill the roll of Wardbot 9000.

At first the game was even, but soon things weren't looking so good for us. We were usually down 2-3 kills. At one point, we were down an inhibitor and we were getting pushed quite hard.
For me: I was farming up top, and Jarvan pretty much had a hard time 1v1ing me. I get hit a couple of times, then go back, farm up, and heal up. Rinse and repeat. Anytime I got killed, it took 3 people or more to take me out (kind of sad, tbh. Even though I'm Cho...well at least don't be tryhards when trying to take me out >_>). Though, I didn't see much action until mid-game phase.
Long story short, we were losing and we decided to get Baron. We killed him without a hitch, then went back to base. Then we all pushed towards where our Ancient Golem was. We encountered a few enemies and we made quick work of them. Then we pushed into their jungle, into mid lane, took out their 2nd row turret, then pushed to their base turret and inhibitor. We didn't stop. We continued and wrecked the Nexus turrets quite quickly. By the time a few enemies respawned, it was too late.
Oh and the Feast indicator was so freaking helpful. That helped me get my first kill; I saw the enemy Ashe running after she finished helping ganking one of my teammates. I saw the indicator, flashed, and ate her.

Stop playing rambo and hook up with some of us sp'ers and lets see if we still have synergy together.
Oh god and yesterday was BS!! Right before my son went to bed (aka almost my time to play freely) I threw my fucking neck out.
God damn that made me feel old, so I decided to take some vicodin and ibuprofen and go to bed instead of playtime.
Low and behold I wake up with it just as bad if not worse than before I slept. DAMNIT. Not sure what to do.

Er, I like playing Sona caus I can just play chickenpomegranate the whole match and only poke my head out to shoot a power charged spell at someone. Aside from possible flashing to runaways to stun them, which is the only real risk I do when playing her.
Anyone possibly have tips? I'm mostly just learning as I go since reading through guides is too much of a chore for someone like me. I just figures sticking some items that buff my team on a character that's already buffing with her spells would do well, but I've no idea if I'm missing something like I thought last time getting frozen heart on Annie.
Don't be afraid to attack. Once you get to 20 and get runes you'll be building DEF runes and surviveability runes so you'll be able to live longer against AD users. And you'll be able to actually fight in a team fight and not just Q and W with your R and just using E when you're running or chasing. Sona can be a nuke, I tried an 500+ AP Build and I ended up with your opposite 24/2/5. Just play a little more aggressive and don't kill minions. Kill 0 Minions and you're helping your team more than you think you are, you don't need gold; Just a philosopher stone.
And if you're playing Aura build this: Shroud, Tear, Derp(Death) Cap, Aegis, Boots of your Choice (I reccommend MPen Boots).

My dad threw his neck out the other month, He went to the doctor and got one of those neck stretchers. Yea it's a gradual recovery but he's doing fine. Just go see your doctor.

Again with this? Have you seen the average CS for supports? It's around 15-25 at most. Rarely do they go to 30+, and even then it's mostly Alistar with that much CS. Just stack Philo, HoG, and maybe Kage, and they're pretty much set for the entirely of the match, which will allow their AD / AP carries to last-hit all they want to let them get their items as a much faster rate.

Yeah you can.
The GP10 is UNIQUE PER ITEM, thus you can stack 1 Philo, 1 HoG, 1 Kage, 1 Avarice, and get 40g per 10.
The average GP10 stack was / is 2 for most cases, sometimes 3 if desperate, so just get 1 Philo and 1 HoG (and 1 Kage if desperate) and you're pretty much set.

But with most cases as support needing more than 1 GP10 means that your team sucks. I never stack more than 1 GP10 Item unless I'm Jarvan.
And I ment as 2x of one GP10 Item.

Just like CDR.
I remember the time I got 2 of the same CDR item, forgetting that they were unique. (The one that builds into DFG)
Good times.

God is it just Europe or are the servers so fucking horrible in the US too? We've had about 5 hours downtime every day for about 2 weeks now. Combine that with actually having stuff to do and you can only play maybe a game in 3 days. No compensation or anything too. Not to mention the already long queue's get to 2-3 hrs after downtime and even then you may get a server is busy or session closed notice which puts you at the beginning of the queue again. This is just so demotivating. It's like they don't even want me to purchase RP at some point.
