Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS)

We know he can't heal people in the videogame reality. And its easy to assume that anything that happens in there happens for real, for two reasons.

1) If what happened in there didn't carry over outside of the reality, it would be pointless doing any sort of training in there.
2) If he could stop people dying or reverse the effects just by taking them out of the game, there would be no need for orohime to have been brought there to heal ichigo.

Maybe physical things don't get carried back but mentally Ichigo has come more in tune with his reiatsu again for your first point. For your second point, Orohime was taken there because Ichigo supposedly gets stronger if he's around people he thinks he has to protect as was stated by ginjo.

That is kind of true that mind training works. Back when Ichigo and Isshin were in that gate place Ichigo went inside his mind to train for 2k years and when he finished he was still a teenager, but he was taller and he got a lot physically stronger just by practicing in his mind and not in the real world.

Started off quite weird but ended up being a pretty good chapter.

It's been in most main stream Manga/Anime. Mindcontrol was a pretty popular plot device back in the day. Toei used it a lot for DB filler sagas like Garlic Jr. and Baby.
